One of the most exciting young talents in his home country’s revitalized dance music underground, Benny Salvador is a DJ, multi-instrumentalist, producer, radio show host and event promoter from Wellington, New Zealand. Over the last half-decade, Benny has won over nightclub audiences throughout New Zealand with eclectic, dancefloor-friendly selections that find the common threads between house, techno, electro, disco-funk, dub, boogie and beyond. In recognition of his taste and talents, Benny has shared the DJ booth with American and European trendsetters like Marcellus Pittman and Courtesy and played at crucial NZ music festivals such as Splore, Beacon and Catacombs. Benny has also recorded well-loved DJ mixes for Planet Trip Records, NTS, Balamii, Related Articles and Friendly Potential Radio. Born into a music and fashion-loving family, Benny uses software, hardware, keyboards, flutes and organ to craft mid-tempo to uptempo club records.

Never Stop Dancing is a mix series dedicated to all those who get locked into a groove and often find themselves first or last on the d floor, to those who say "one more song" more than once, to those who feel the medicine of collective joy in their veins, and to those who get lost in the music and find their people on the dance floor. This mix series is focused on amplifying the sounds of artists and DJs in the Kootenays and British Columbia who play house, disco, and techno. The offering will likely expand in time as this project grows. If you'd like to share a mix, get in touch. Never Stop Dancing 6 features a disco/funk/soul heavy mix titled "Saturday Night Retro" by Rossland local legend Jazzy Jo. About a month ago, Jazzy Jo played a set to remember at Saturday Night Retro Volume 2. She brought us back in time and uplifted the crowd with her funky selections. She had us swaying back and forth, gettin' silly, hootin' and hollering with joy. It was simply amazing and I'm thrilled to be able to share it with y'all. 

Bio: Jazzy Jo loves to share soul, funk, disco, and more. She's been heavily into rare grooves of the r&b variety since the early 200s, enjoying the club scene in Leeds, UK, where she essentially grew up. he loves it all from Northern Soul to rare disco...if it is uplifting, funky and danceable, she's all over it! She got her first turntables in 2013 while living in Northern BC, and has been enjoying playing Serato vinyl whenever she gets the chance. She moved to Rossland in 2016 and has been enjoying the vibrant dj scene. In 2020, she transition to playing boutique events around the Kootenays and started a monthly radio show called Regen Rhythms for http://www.iamsoundacademy.com and Kootenay Coop Radio.
