L.A. Dave has been putting Nairobi on the map for over thirteen years with a forward-thinking mix of minimal techno and Afro house. He's lived in London, California, and Tanzania where he was exposed to many different music scenes and sounds, helping him build a foundation and an idea of his music aspirations in Kenya.

Dave has built very strong relationships in the music industry, being the resident DJ and operations manager at 'Kenya Nights' as well as the resident DJ at the top 100 club, Muze Club Nairobi. He has played alongside the likes of Black Coffee, Themba, Prince Kaybee, Mobi Dixon, DJ Merlon, Shimza, Major Lazer, Da Capo, Culoe de Song, Djeff, Hyenah, Pablo Fierro, Esa, Auntie Flo, Mr Raoul K, Archie Hamilton, Subb-an, Nick Curly, Jeremy Olander, Rodriguez Jr., Marco Bailey, Stephan Bodzin, Guy J, Kid Fonque, Oscar Mbo, and many, many more.

Spring is coming.  This is my favorite time of year!  So much to live for, so much beauty, so much life blooming.  
Some super hot ones in here, led by Taarof Adder's Bootleg Remix of Tyla's already classic "Water" (he made it much better!  Just a gem of a remix!), as well as our good friends, Mosco Lee, Nubz MusiQ, and Thabiso Vocalist gracing Cabeau Music once again with Be Free.  Moish has been pushing sounds for a while, and I see some VERY bright things in his future.  I can never get enough of Impi by Lemon & Herb, as it does something very special for my soul.  It would make me so happy for you to listen and enjoy!

Coming out at the end of this week is our (Cabeau Music's) latest EP release InSync by the very talented Makhosonke from SA.  In this mix is our favorite track of the EP, whereby he's accompanied by one of the vocal Queen's of Afro House, Priscilla K from Botswana.
Also LOVING my Brothers' (David Montoya, and LMichael) newest tracks, up-and-coming Curio Tones' beauty Zwelethu, Eyama's (always a huge fan of his) Made for Me remix, Zrust DBE's (we have a new remix of his coming soon on CM) techy monster Dark Tunnel, and RISE's newest Ngimbambile by Lionayve, as well as so much more great music.  Throwing in a sprinkle of Cuebur makes everything better. :)  
Maz and Antdot's Run is a candidate for track of 2024 - this one is massive!
