The plan was set in stone and now the wheels were in motion. This time it had to be foolproof, he couldn't risk being caught again - each time the punishment had been more severe. The promise of freedom kept him going, he'd do whatever he could to escape this place, he should never have been sent here to begin with. That night, as the building fell silent and the lights dimmed to black, he awaited the signal and prayed that this time he would not fail.

It's been 9 years since Playground came into existence and they're commemorating this musical journey with the help of friends and family from across the world. Starting as a party in their original home of Buenos Aires, the crew behind it have grown to become a label platform for international artists who are pushing the boundaries of hypnotic electronic music.

This milestone is being celebrated with a sprawling compilation that features the sounds that represent the past, present and future of the imprint. New and old friends provide the sonics, namely the likes of Curses, Kate Stein, MR TC, Shubostar and Theus Mago, which stretch from downtempo cuts to psychedelic synth excursions, club experiments and much more.

In 2019 after a near-death-experience and a mini nervous-breakdown I decided to punish myself and change my life. I decided to isolate - i could do only 2 things - work and work harder. No more hangouts with friends, no more parties - no more wasting time. Until recently actually I lived like that but i had to stop because I was getting cabin fever finally ! But it was fruitful - I quadrupled my mixing and other related skills - like making mashups and songs !
In 2021 i started working on my next Alien Rave.. And i said to myself - i will work however long it takes - but I'm not stopping until I make a mix that is 2 times better than alien rave 0 - which was a very tall order considering how much i struggled to make 0 and how much I thought then - that I've reached the peak of my skill ceiling (protaanta pro-tip-anta - there is no skill ceiling, you learn and grow your whole life) 
So... After more than a year of constant work on the weekends... 
After many sessions of depression and self doubt and other personality crises..

A mix that broke a man, a mix that made a man.
It's finally down. And it's currently holding the title of - my best masterpiece, my Mona Lisa my Sistine chapel.. All my life I've been an art chameleon - doing everything from poetry to video art - but this mix right here takes the cake and eats it too - it's just the best piece of art I ever did. And I would never say these things lightly, my friends can give testimony as how much self-critical and modest I am. I have 2 full mixes, just sacrifices - left overs from this one !
At multiple points of analyzing it I realized - I can do this better, but again from scratch ! And even crazier track selection than last time ! 
And its a doozy ! Listen baby, when life offers you another crack at fine tuning you take it..

Fun-Fact : It also contains snippets and bits from 2 cancelled(yeah really got unlucky there) podcast mixes i was working on ! One of them being a out-of-this-dimension 1 hour mix called Scisocore Essentials - a mostly broad mix of various IDM (or braindance if you prefer)genres, songs focusing on spoken word and spoken word as a percussive instrument, voice and drum distortions and fast BPM etc. etc. - just an overall balls to the walls borderline experimental dance mix that's supposed to induce schizophrenia in its listeners !

that nature owns beauty to no one ! Laconism might seem true, but it lies deep within a sea of informational and total absolute chaos - and within said chaos life and in turn society dwells as well.
So follow your primal instincts in a far, far advanced alien takeover future as you find yourself without memory inside the alien techno-dome show club during its prime on Arcology9 space station ! Lost and confused amidst the alien rabble, lasers and holo-projections, you seem to have accidentally overdosed on a futuristic psycho-active substance that causes lucidly-realistic-hallucinations akin to having a severe case of schizophrenia. 
But you also hear similar audio hallucinations, sounds you know are not from the show - but beamed from another dimension directly into your consciousness :

What is in the Museum Of No Art? Not paintings, but visions. Not sculptures, but empty spaces full of potential. It is within this inverted gallery that Mona Steinwidder traces fabulous forms with voice, sampler, synthesizer, clarinet and effects. Under the moniker Museum Of No Art, she has created an album that floats in a hazy lacuna between realities, rooted in propulsive and deep bass resonance, but also footloose, playfully deconstructing language and mixing in layers of echoing synthetic and organic tones. The fascinating result of these unfettered experiments resonate as an imaginary cadavre-exquis played by DJ Screw, Arthur Russell, Hiroshi Yoshimura, MJ Lallo, Poppy Nogood, and Laurie Anderson.

With a background in fine art and music, over the years Steinwidder has created and released music under the pseudonym Mohna, as part of the experimental pop band Me Succeeds, and collaborates with composer Alexander Schubert and electronic dance music producer Christian Löffler. Recently, shifting her focus more on improvisation and experimental music, she moved to Vienna for six months to concentrate on experimenting with synthesizers, samplers and voice. Her intention was to build a “playground” that would leave space for improvisation and allow for a meditative and intuitive process. This solo exploration allowed her to return home with a new way to play.

“I like this idea of an open and light structure that can grow and transform and leaves space in all directions. Something without a clear beginning and ending. A rough, short note. Today I’m in the mood to sing, but tomorrow I might be in the mood to just float on an ocean of synths or to play a solo on my clarinet. I am a never-ending process and I am many. The Museum Of No Art album is a collection of days and moods, images and circumstances I experienced and immediately recorded in the last year.”

With his own unique treatment of sleazy, minimal electro and acid beats, MKDSL (stands for ‘Mom Says I’m Pretty’ in Serbian) has been uplifting the local clubbing auditorium since the early 2000s.

Equally influenced by Aphex Twin and Laurie Anderson, as well as 90s Dutch masters such as I-F and Legowelt, MKDSL is one of the most interesting producers and DJs in Belgrade today, crossing his humorous, camp personality with a serious devotion to music.

He hosts a Friday evening show with DJ Flip on Belgrade’s radio B92, called Idemo Na Mars, 08-10 pm GMT+1.
