Undulating Juno soundscapes and warbling 303s merge seamlessly with roughed up rhythms punched through the MPC.

@hokkaido-dance-club: A label not a disco on a north Japanese island, is helmed by Jordan Saxton (aka @Viers & @leekonitz) and Joe Sagar  - two pals from Leeds with a dirty habit of unearthing a gem. HDC have been somewhat quiet of late. Their most recent release being early 2017 from label honcho Viers; a sumptuous offering which left HDC fans all Oliver Twist - begging for more of that tasty metaphorical audio gruel. If you don't have a bowl yet - get one.

When we first heard this - it's safe to say we were a little surprised (pleasantly of course). Part of HDC's legacy has been their contributions towards the dance floor - four/four lead post 12am heaters. Medrea's (https://soundcloud.com/medreadj) 'Untitled' and this features Premiere kicks the record off as it means to go on - maintaining Hokkaido's gritty aesthetic with about as much saturation as the fat content in the porkiest of pies, yet veering (no pun intended) away from the hallmark stonk. Broken beats combining and interacting with etheral strokes and mechanistic hues throughout make for an immersive and entrancing listening experience. In more simple terms - imagine PS1's Duke Nukem gliding his pixely fingers across a Roland D-50 as part of a dystopian future-soul band. Still not with us? Just listen - s'good.

Asquith, Catswith or just Jimmy. A man you'll no doubt be familiar with through his diligent service to your favourite sonic seafood supper, Lobster Theremin. Alas, the mans talents span beyond the required acumen to build and sustain such an industry stronghold. Those of you in the know will be aware of his musical ability through the more ambient alias Tom Hang and the warehouse dance-floor ready, Chicago Floatation Device. However, of late, Jimmy has been littering the sonisphere with strictly bangers for our enjoyment via his actual name alias, Asquith.

This one is called 'Hot Hot' - a certified floor weapon which skirts the border of being club tool, yet holding the esteem of a full bodied banger.  A devastating bottom end is amalgamated with glitched percussion which - along with the near percussive vocal stabs - violently slice and slash through the mix. Put it this way, you're not listening to this in the car with your mum but bring her to the club and listen to it there?

Wilcoxia poselgeri can be found primarily in South and West Texas, as well as the adjoining Mexican state of Coahulia. Sometimes referred to as the “Lead Pencil Cactus” or “Dahlia Hedgehog Cactus” due to its slender stems and tuberous Dahlia-like root system, Wilcoxia poselgeri grows in the sandy soils of hills and valleys on either side of the Rio Grande. When in bloom Wilcoxia poselgeri produces large, moderately fragrant pink flowers that open during the day and close at night. Initially erect, Wilcoxia poselgeri gradually begins sprawling amongst its surroundings as it matures to support the growing weight of new stems. Regarded as a slow-growing yet uniquely beautiful specimen, Wilcoxia poselgeri’s relative ease of cultivation makes it a remarkable addition to any collection. Our botanists strive to source and produce high-quality specimens to enrich your mind as well as your ears. After many months in the field our team has returned with a diverse selection of sonic seedlings. Following a series of meticulous experiments in our research facility each seedling has been deemed safe for general propagation and cleared for release.

Clocking in at 5:40 mins, Close and Slow is a nocturnal treat and features warm, deep pads and pleasant synth plucks stitched together by a swollen bassline and a delicious Lo-Fi groove.

GLBDOM starts a new sublabel with the name GLBDOM Classic dedicated to a more nostalgic sound highly influenced by the old school Chicago, Detroit and New York vibes, 90s House with a touch of Italian Dream House and Balearica.

For the first EP we’re very happy to welcome a young Italian producer Jacopo SB. His Around My Mind EP immerses the listener in a kind of story."Across your heart" and "Love you, Bae" are two Deep Balearic House tracks that include pads, flutes and deep basses that accentuate the sentimental part of the EP. Then we moved on to the most powerful House music ever with "HouseFeeling" and finally we came to the most experimental part with a breakbeat and exasperated electronics of the track that gave the name to the EP "Around My Mind".
