"I wanted to embrace my zero-ability of making decisions and go for a multi(mix)genre track when producing 'GAGA no sleep'. It's like 2 - or maybe even 3 - tracks in one. I wanted to create something unexpected and have a PLOT TWIST midway through. I played around with the vocals from Lady Gaga's iconic interview with Fuse, her quotes describe DJ life pretty well = no sleep --> club --> another club, heheheI hope my track will be played on many many many dancefloors and make people laugh !!!"

Isaka (@isaka_symbios_wiki)- 7Qubit Serenade

"The inception of 7Qubit Serenade traces back to the end of 2019 with a lil flute melody I wrote. The melody founds its unique rhythm in a 15/4 time signature grime beat inspired by the first implementation of Shor's algorithm on a seven-qubit quantum computer which was able to factor the number fifteen. I contemplated the addition of generative vocals to the odd grime beat for a few years before eventually settling on the RVC AI model and text-2-audio technologies. I recorded the vocals about yearning for an artificial cyber lover at the beginning of October 2023. The lyrics reify my belief that we should sing more love songs for the inhuman, since those of us who have been dehumanized by capital need love the most."

Another Week another mix! Introducing to you: Beqqi, who is spreading the late summer good vibes.

Beqqi, the Oberlausitz-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer whose energy and sound are setting dancefloors ablaze. With a catching selection, that embodies the spirit of both countryside and city life, Beqqi’s music is a joyous celebration of rhythm and groove. His mixes are a vibrant fusion of styles, seamlessly blending elements of ghetto tech, house or groovy techno. Multimix 048: Beqqi

November days may be grey and cold, but good music has the power to lift the spirits, no matter how gloomy the weather. Fortunately, we’ve enlisted jewelry to take on the task of brightening up the season.

Leipzig’s jewelry has made her mark on the city’s scene, engaging deeply in event design, production, and nightlife. As a DJ for the past six years, she’s showcased an eclectic range of styles, from laid-back vibes to early 2000s deep progressive trance. Her sets weave together a rich spectrum of moods, always with a touch of trippy magic.

For this occasion, she has blended slow dub sounds and deep whirling psychadelics together, painting the scene like this: in the late afternoon sun, a tiny frog bobs onto a lily pad in a river. After a short nap, it realizes it has drifted into a forest filled with shining lights and pulsating music, where all its amphibian friends are dancing their hearts out. After nibbling a strange plant a friend gave it, the frog is swept up in the rhythm, dancing into the night and embracing the evolving, surreal madness. Tripped out and happier than ever, the frog reminisces on the beautiful night as the set comes to an end.

As we close out 2024, we're thrilled to welcome @menzelwashington for the final mix of the year. Known for his seamless fusion of dubby textures, organic rhythms, and progressive energy, menzel delivers a captivating selection that's as driving as it is immersive.

"I am Julius, known as menzel, a decade-long practicing selector and part of the Nihil Collective crew. For this mix, I sought inspiration from the Multifun and Multimix universe. I aimed to adopt its uplifting, modern, and diverse approach—attributes that come to mind when I think of it. I adjusted my usual sound, unlocking the proggy and acid side while focusing on the dramaturgy, something that is important to me in a mix."
