Fishy returns to Offworld for his lucky 7th release with more great contemporary melodic drum and bass music.

Opening the EP, Fishy links up with Nostre for 'We Don't Talk', a deep, understated stepper washed in subtle jazz colours.
Next up is 'Days of Wonder', a light, warm roller built around soft melodic flourishes.
Fishy teams up with Professor Funk for the excellent 'Trees of Tomorrow', an uplifting off beat number with soulful spoken words that starts warm and melodic before increasing the tension as the bass filter opens up. 
Closing the EP is 'Activate', a deep, atmospheric stepper driven by shimmering pads, a wandering, curious bassline, and elegant melodic touches.

I first got into music through my Dad who taught me a few chords on the guitar but i got more experimental and started messing with cassette tape and tape recorders. The first keyboard i ever owned was when i was around 10 - a Realistic Concertmate 500 which had a very basic sampling function so you could say a few words into it and play them up and down the keyboard. Next was a Yamaha YS-200 an FM synth with a basic sequencer. This combined with an obsession with Jean Michel Jarre's Zoolook album led to an eternal love affair with electronic music and especially sampling. Since then ive been through a myriad of synths and studio setups starting with a Roland W-30 workstation/sampler back in 1991. I love a broad range of electronic music especially deep house / tech house / drum & bass / chill / ambient / trip hop & psytrance. Over the years I've played keys in a couple of cover bands & had a couple of gigs playing some of my own tracks at various dance events.
