Hello there! Long time no see (again). Let's enjoy this piece while you read the backstory.

This is my loved piece. Admittedly, it is not perfect, but I think of it as my finest work on anime songs.

I started practicing this piece almost 4 years ago. Every time I played it, I was reliving one of my happiest yet heartbreaking moments. I became increasingly emotional and unmotivated. I stopped playing it, and then the piano.

I was stuck with one challenging bar of the piece. I could not imagine playing through the bar without getting it perfectly correct. I did not see the beautiful sections lying ahead, and thus, could not move on.
Then, I realized that I played several pieces before, all of them had errors. How come I could not play this through and move on to the next one? Revisiting this one a few months ago, I was caught off guard when my eyes became watery the very moment I began playing. However, this time I managed to finished it and started a new anime song.

I was too obsessed with “Everyday World.” I believe it took me the longest time to finish a single piece. But finally, I can look back and say thanks for being part of my memories.
