haiku #337: A lightning bolt / splits in two and strikes / the mountaintop.

This song tells the story of an aging former Walk of Fame movie star who once basked in the Hollywood limelight and was everyone’s sweetheart on the silver screen. With the passage of time, fewer screen roles come her way, and she begins to depend on red wine to cope with her depression and grief. Eventually, she decides to end it all. Indeed, glory, fame and fortune are a young girl's game in Hollywood, which is riddled with stereotypes of beauty and youth. This emotional and moving song is a dedication to those who have taken their lives over the years in Hollywood and elsewhere due to societal pressures to retain their youth, beauty and fame.

Hi again, been a while !

After five years apart from composing and creating ; I tried to take the time and not pressure myself ; making what I like and do the "best". Experiencing the lack of imagination for so long is quite difficult but, in the end, you'll find a way in the ocean of melodies and mix it up to new pieces. I'm happy to find the path to creation again, after so long. Hope you'll enjoy this very new stuff.

I attempted to mix some synths playing harmonic and melodic elements with various field recordings and effects. I also employed a traditional Japanese scale (called in, related to the phyrgian mode). The mix didn't gel quite as I'd hoped but the overall impression I was going for is there.

Naito Joso was a Japanese poet in the Edo period and a student of Matsuo Bashō. His works were published posthumously in 1750 in the book Jōsō hokkushū (collection of hokku by Jōsō).

I am still looking, trying and experimenting, I really like electronic ambient for many years, but it only works as a live percussionist. In short, nothing is black or white:)
In today's hectic world I need quiet sounds and the vast majority of songs created at night, so are my compositions such as they are.

My tracks is based on the absolute freedom of the use of sound. Arises as if I painted a picture. In the head is the base, and then adding the details here and there.
As well as if I were his music told the story.

I use: Ableton-Live-Suite with Partnerinstrumets, Kontakt Player + virtual instrumentzs,NI-Machine, Ableton Push, Acces Virus TI Snow, Waldorf Blofeld, AKAI MPK 49, Korg Microkorg XL+,KORG Kaossilator,Kaosspad,KORG Wavedrum, Roland HPD 20, nord lead A1 r, Yamaha mx49, Roland Edirol for Fieldrecordings - and various live percussion.(Kalimba, frame drum, tombak, koshi etc)
