House scene in Poland also has a low profile, even though before Pandemic the club scene was growing up and thanks to labels as “Transatlantyk” many producers that have been under the radar, have seen the light in the past years.

Bydgoszcz’s based dj and producer Serasso started kicking beats 15 years ago, mixing Chicago House, Detroit Techno and Hip Hop since the early beginning, his passion for more Tropical sounds and Italo House has developed his own personal style, evolving into something more floor friendly and groovy.

Following the vibe that the polish producer delivered last year with “Bryza” at “Transatlantyk”, Serasso introduce us to “Classico EP”, 5 tracks of pure House rooted in the early 90’s. Italian house as main influence and taking as reference “classico” mighty dj’s from the likes of Don Carlos or Alex Neri.

Cause besides football, there’s something in common between Poland, Italy and Maradona, they all like House Music.

New artists on Toy Tonics! gome are an organic disco duo from Hamburg. Two guys that make good mood disco inspired by the 1980 Italo and Munich Disco vibe and share an addiction to gourmet food. Positive vibes, rolling grooves, catchy melodic bits and vocals and a lot of musicality.

Claus Casper makes one hell of a return to Exploited Club with a dynamo for the dance floor designed to take the lid clean off the party.

Claus Casper adds to an extensive catalogue with releases for Johannes Albert’s Frank Music and Tensnake’s True Romance to name a few.

Here, he returns with the crystal clear intent to give DJs something to draw for when the party is at its absolute zenith. A snappy, muscular break is rooted to the ground by a tough 4/4 kick. This forms the bone structure of a groove that gradually whips up a frenzy, stacking exultation in layers as it rolls. 

A slick, agile bass line keeps energy pulsing in the low end as the track shifts through chapters that are marked by openings for a hands-in-the-air piano line that as the title suggests, is nothing short of glorious. 

Clever sequencing keeps intensity up as elements are whipped out and slapped back in - somehow feeling more and more jubilant as they return right until the end of a full throttle jam that's got 'tune of the night' written all over it.

Hamburg based Bizzarro Universe are a duo who have conjured the cosmos into releases on Bordello a Parigi and Exploited Club. 'Planetary Groove' was their debut EP for Exploited Club; a nod to the 90s that is now taken in 2 fresh directions by Herr Krank and auspicious producer AUTOFLOWER.

First up is Helios label head Herr Krank who braids Trance, Acid and Italo into a dizzying revision that does a fine job of channeling 90s euphoria whilst delivering something very fresh indeed. Shuttering synths and a vibrant acid line tag in and out while a serrated bass line gives the low end a stylish bite. Drums are quick and boisterous and the energy effervescent as the track powers on like a current of energy: fast paced and coursing forth with irresistible kinetic momentum.

Nijmegen based AUTOFLOWER then steps in, keeping hold of the euphoric torch across a powerful take that marches with a purposeful intensity. Drums are potent and crunchy, churning away under an electrifying synth lead that gradually opens up before a double drop that will send the floor into giddy rapture, capping off 2 different but equally effective remixes.
