I used to hike through a desert trail in the south of Texas where you could feel the fossilized creatures crunching under your feet, literally everywhere. A strange time 50m years ago when climate change had heated the world to unimaginable temperatures, and I can't help but think we're walking towards that time again.

Dee Drop

Seems like most of my time is spent in the departures lounge these days, and I had this tune swirling in my head the other day. Reminds me of all the great people I've met over the years, all heading to places unknown.

A Night In Paris

My first recording of 2016, this song reminds me of driving down the CA-1, between San Francisco and Los Angeles. Named after my favorite stretch of road.  Just like the California Pacific Coast Highway, the song starts out funky and ends up with a little LA hair band lol. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed recording it.

Watching the recent political upheaval on TV got me thinking about how we seem to be addicted to watching every protest, coup, terrorist attack and other acts of violence on a 24-hour news cycle, and how we begin to think the world is unraveling. But it's really just the window from which we've chosen to view the world. It's easy to think the world is unraveling when you haven't left your living room.
