How could I turn away : when He called my name?
Why did I let distraction : put His love to shame?

I wept through the night : seeking forgiveness and grace,
Yearning for a change : a new path to embrace.

With tears as my guide :  I cleansed my heart's core
Seeking His light, His presence :  to be restored.
