Michael Ng is a locally bred DJ in HK, focusing on House / Techno /  Electronic Music . His first exposure to dance music came in 2007 when he heard Underworld's classic "Born Slippy" blasted from a friend's car. And that's where his passion and journey into underground electronic music began.  a brief encounter with breakbeat, his taste switched to electro house and later expanded to melodic stuff.
Michael developed his DJing skills by digesting the podcasts from worldwide electronic media. He learned and practised after absorbing the vast amount of popular and lesser-known live sets and recordings. His other major influence came from Ernest Lo, a veteran DJ and producer in Hong Kong. His skills in programming and advanced DJ techniques matured under the guidance of Ernest with great results. In 2011, he felt ready to share his passion with the crowd, and began his presentation in the underground club scene in Hong Kong.
In May 2014, He also contributed a podcast to the "Frisky Love China" show by Frisky Radio. These are testaments to Michael’s ever-rising popularity. The melodies are the main vibes of the selected track digs deep into the soul of the listeners and creates a setting
That could be either rooted either at a dark and sweaty underground club or, the opposite, at an outdoor location. Michael finds himself analysing the music he listens to, even if he on a night out. He’d like to seek the chords and melodies from the tracks to get the idea how to perform at live show as story and trip. Up to these years, you can find Michael dropping hypnotic sonic grooves in the clubs in HK scene. Meanwhile, he has established a Hong Kong DJ collective named “Groove Delight” with Ernest and Robbie Chan and Rostyslav.
