G.T.O. - Pure is one of the early rave anthems from 1990. We had two remixes made of this classic to give it a new life. Get ready for a raw and vibrant techno journey with Luis Miranda's latest EP, dropping on the esteemed Kaiserdisco record label, KD Raw, that also features a mind-bending remix by Portuguese techno sensation DJ Dextro (UNCAGE, Suara, Naked Lunch).

Originally from Madrid (Spain), Luis Miranda is now based in Los Angeles, where he creates high-octane techno that combines fast-flowing percussion rhythms with hypnotic synth lines. This release marks his fourth collaboration with KD Raw and his second solo EP for the label, showcasing his signature sound that has also graced the catalogues of AnalyticTrail, Tronic, Odd, Codex, and JAM, among others. 

The EP kicks off with "Tikis Mikis," where muted synth chords, stabbing vocals, and thrashing high-end percussion blend into a thumping kick drum, setting the tone for what's to come.

"Tarumba" has punishing claps and looped vocals combined with frantic synths and pitched tom drums that deliver a driving momentum.

"Morituri" delivers muffled chants, acid synths, and shuffling percussion rhythms, all powered by a thundering kick drum.

DJ Dextro's remix of "Tikis Mikis” closes the EP; it thickens the percussion and beefs up the kick drum to create a hard-hitting version with swelling synths that add to the track’s intensity.

Slam return to Soma with the slick, minimalistic and hypnotic Activate EP. With a focus firmly rooted on the dance floor, the duo explore deeper and more hypnotic regions on this new EP, with a varied selection of raw, driving yet stripped techno.

Title track Activate opens with deep, driving, pulsing rhythms and straight forward percussive elements, lead with hypnotic vocal loops. Quantum delves deeper as dubbed out reverb & delay saturates the tripped out acid bass sounds that flicker into existence as stripped yet effective drums create the intensity. Somnambulist continues the stripped back nature of the EP as subtle changes in FX give the track live whilst the swelling percussive elements drive the rhythms. Trsmit offers up a tougher yet still minimalistic approach to close out the EP. An intense and tension building atmosphere is created throughout the track as warping synths swell & filter against a backdrop of sparse yet effective percussion.

We are pleased to welcome the Panamanian artist, Bruce Zalcer, for his first single on Tronic. He delivered four-floor rocking tracks for this release. We also recruited one of our favorites, Uncertain, for remix duties. The originals are straightforward stompers, whereas the Uncertain remix delivered his trademark groove and expert production. Overall a great package!

Artist’s Note: 
I am pleased to present you a new chapter on my Paralelo label.
I started this project at the beginning of the lockdown in 2020, and it brought me a lot of satisfaction and the opportunity to show more of my music.

In this 2023 I am presenting a return with some modifications in order to give it a more complementary concept to that of MindTrip.
The label will be focused solely on single EPs, and their covers and aesthetics are a more artistic version done on top of my own astrophotography, which you may already be used to seeing on MindTrip.
