What can I say about FnF that hasn't already been said? It's always an honor to be selected to play at these truly special events, and as such I always prepare a very thoughtfully curated set based on which stage I'm playing at and where my time slot is located in the day/night. I never plan my sets from start to finish, but I do spend quite a bit of time prior to the event finding new music and creating several small playlists of music I think I may want to play based on genre. 

This year, my slot was Friday night, June 2, 2023 from 11:15pm to 12:30am right before kem, one of my long-time DJ pals & FnF OG. For my slot, I wanted to set up kem nicely by warming up the dance floor with some tech house and then ramped up the energy throughout my set with some jackin' house & bass house.

Huge thanks to Ethan, the Music Committee, the entire FnF family and Radiant Atmospheres for always creating an exquisite experience that is truly unmatched in love, vibes and production.

DJ Denise - Live at FnF XXV (June 2023)

Here's my set from the 25th annual edition of the Friends and Family Summer Campout. I rerecorded it as there were a couple mixing glitches in the live version - nothing too heinous, but also nothing I wanted to hear every time I listen to this set in the future. So, made it right for posterity!  =) Sound-wise, this set has a slightly different sound palette for me and even has just a touch of a psy tech towards the end - a nod to Khromata who was following me, and also just some new sounds coming out of producers I've loved for years. So, dig those big, belching, growly synths! As always, massive thanks to everyone that made and makes FnF happen. Raving aint easy, and it remains so amazing that we're still here. Rock on!

Ethan - FnF Summer Campout 2023 - Redux

“Monday night was already off to an amazing start - I had just biked out to the deep playa and was able to quickly spot the beautiful Maxa deer glittering in the distance, with the help of a perfect full moon. I was overwhelmed with excitement as I headed towards it.

To me, one of the magical parts of Burning Man is the serendipitous run-ins with people you weren’t expecting to find so far out in the middle of the desert. When I arrived on the art car, I remember feeling blown away by how many friends and familiar faces were both on the car and in the crowd. It was overwhelming to see everyone.

If you were there that night, I hope listening to this set brings you back to that place. And if you are listening for the first time, I hope you can feel the magic we created together. Thank you to my Maxa family for having me - this is such a beautiful memory.

I-Yer is every bit the modern day music junkie, with his fresh and sublime style of Melodic, Progressive House, Techno, Deep House is ushering a new style and definition to the Electronic Dance Music scene from the time he started taking up his major's as Sound engineering back in 2006.

After officially finishing his degree in 2008, he began venturing into the scene more aggressively and has been influenced by the works of some international talents like Popof, Mark Knight, Marc Romboy, Aki Bergen, Kevin Saunderson, Stephan Bodzin, Martin Eyerer, Josh Wink, Slam, Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Anthony Attalla and so on....he began spinning his way through the industry to a recognition with sharing the decks with some industry heavy weights under the Un_Der Ground 7 parties he produced in India and Dubai till present.

Fnf 2024 Main Submission

Still buzzing from celebrating my dear friend @mira_kater birthday—a cherished tradition I’ve been lucky to be part of over the years at KaterBlau . From Sunday night into Monday morning, I had the honor of playing at 47 Katzen Tanzen Auf’m Tisch at Heinz Hopper (3–6 AM), sandwiched between the legendary @jonathankaspar and my dear friends  @mila-stern and @skalared , who absolutely crushed their first-ever B2B set 🤯
The night/day was pure magic. I danced, laughed, and connected with friends from all over the world, soaked in incredible sets from beloved colleagues, and felt so reconnected with why I love what I do 🫂🩶 I also got to test out a couple of new ideas I’ve been working on, drop a track from an EP coming out in 2025, and play some remixes that’ll be out soon 😚🫶🏼Happy to share the recording of my set 😻
