Hailing from Croatia, Lab Personnel is a musical collaboration turned collective and label between many like-minded artists such as Goran Lautar (aka Neon Lies), Jasmin Mahmić (aka Le Chocolat Noir, Fiume & more), Luka Kurjan (aka Man of Cloth), Marijan Katić, Nikola Kos (aka Ikonal) and Saša Rajković (aka Zarkoff, part of Sumerian Fleet, part of Neugrau & more). Over the years, they would occasionally meet for and record lengthy sessions of improvisational music. 'Marked for Disassembly' is their latest output.

This time, deep within the skeletal remains of an abandoned chemical processing plant, eight of their members captured the disquieting essence of a world suspended between haunting melodies and forgotten industry. Immersed in an atmosphere of palpable musical anxiety, their machines oozed up a sonic alchemy of experimental EBM where strange syncopated drums meet with eerie acid lines and gooey textures.

"Marked for Disassembly" is set to be released on Mar 13th across all digital platforms, accompanied by a beautiful UV printed cassette.

Trained as an architect, a number of music collectives and labels have also been (rightly) seduced by his singular brush for banging artworks. 

As for his music, well it’s also everything you would love coming from your architect: straight to the point, edgy and built-to-last! He brings home some tech-house angles that will put both youngsters and elders up on their feet with some well-designed touches of emotions selected with taste and good measure.

Ten years ago, when the enthusiastic minds of Dodo, Emir and Neven came together, one of the crews was born that has remained a fond memory for all of us. This crew quickly became the epicenter of electronic music in Zagreb, organizing various events, from the first events at Das Haus to foreign guest appearances to outdoor events and festivals. Dodo (@dodo001)  is one of the founders of the Deep'n'out collective, which hosted many DJs of dangerous caliber, such as Moomin, Ben Cohen, Benedikt Frey, Fred P and many others.

Mix for VHS Podcast is an exploration of new and old sounds, be it electronic music, African rhythms or other genres, without too much planning, simply as a journey through what suits him at the moment. It's, he says, one of the sets that best reflects what he's been playing before.

It might be a well kept secret that Zagreb scene fixture Mimi (part of Ekstrakt, one of the longest running and most consistent crews in town) bakes a mean pizza, but it's common knowledge is that he is one of the best and most refreshing DJ's in town. Period. 
It is pretty obvious to us and ours that he should be butterflying around the international circuit and hob knob with the techno elistists. But yo, this ain't Berlin and life is tough outside the self cleaning oven of the hype machine and Mimi is one of many highly skilled local DJ's toiling away on the fringes, saving countless parties from the horrors of the one hit wonder producer "DJ".
So for most of y'all this will be probably the first and only chance to hear him drop a vivid selection of slow burning mid tempo mind warpers. If you have some space in your overflowing media trough we highly recommend you take this appetizer as a main course.
