This album gathers tracks recorded between 2016 and 2018, at home in Mariupol — a city that no longer exists as it once did. For a long time, I hesitated to release them, holding onto these sounds in fear and uncertainty, but life moves so quickly that I’m afraid I might not get another chance — so let them live, at least, within the memory of the world’s vast network. These pieces were thought lost when the house and computer that held them were destroyed in the war. Restored from a damaged hard drive, they return now as fragile echoes of a life before the silence: memories of a place erased, moments preserved in sound, and the quiet ache of everything that can’t be rebuilt.

With this ebullient "Funk You Up" EP he brings the combination of a few styles with radical effect. Nothing is standard about its sound from the heavy broken beats to the thick and complex production.
Darker than the darkness and with menacing undertones, Cosmic Monkey delivers this thumping "Got Your Back" mix which would work well even on the hells dancefloor bringing break beat drums, toms and flange ridden hi hats to the fore before breaking down into an ridden synth groove which brings the fire to the dancefloor. A curious Chimera of sounds presents itself out of the wild, from kinetic half-time drum and bass-heavy techno to shoegaze wall of sound to dreamy sunset islander vibes.

The Tendts trio comprises of Chris, Fotis, and Elias, who introduce themselves as “Cosmic Swimmers”, an eponym of their successful track released on Public Release Recordings in 2019. Referring to themselves as “A Pleiadian Power Trio” who transverse dimensions, the foundation of their sodality is their mutual pledge to explore the cosmic truth. The Tendts name was conceptualised when the group’s original members, brothers Chris and Fotis Papadakis, were making music together in a room and, inspired by a musty window, they imagined an amalgamation of words together and came up with Tendts. The essence of this concept resonates in their music which blends a concoction of modern and vintage sounds and operates in the enigmatic territory of the in-between genre space. 

Celebrating their first release on their own imprint T.A.F., ‘Faith’ is an 8-track record with a lighthearted and colourful disposition that melts together an eclectic mix of acid basslines, constant streams of bouyant drum patterns, vintage guitar riffs, old-school vocals, and exotic rhythms. Each track provides a groove strong enough to implore you to dance, while also having an entrancing effect to subdue your mind and plunge you into a state of hallucination and relaxation, reflecting the intimacy of a studio setting and the spirit of live shows simultaneously.

Tendts have created a truly tantalising album brimming with psychedelic ideas and seamlessly drawing together the most mind-bending influences from a variety of genres, thus further unveiling the celestial world that inspires their sound.
