All of the percussion sounds of "Outside" were recorded in a tunnel under a road about ten days before the start of the lockdown, and it was during the quarantine that the composition of the track began. After leaving it out for a while, I finished it this summer.

Tous les éléments de la rythmique de "Outside" ont été enregistrés dans un tunnel sous une route une dizaine de jours avant que ne débute le confinement, et c'est pendant la quarantaine que la composition du morceau a commencé. Je l'ai laissé de côté un moment pour bosser sur d'autres titres fortement inspirés par le confinement ("Time?" et "Masked & Anonymous") et ne me suis remis dessus qu'après la libération, qui n'en fut certainement pas une.

Trolls on Acid is a project I started about 10 odd years ago... though there have only been two albums sofar, or three, can't remember, not checking... After a few failed attempts at getting this project off the ground, those that were going to collaborate got caught up with other commitments etc etc...then Toshi (Toshiyuki Hiraoka) came along and we started working on one of his projects (still in the works) the Trolls on Acid project came up, so here we are .. the first finished track from the Trolls on Acid new album ''World Macabre''  the first release in something like 10 years or so, who's countin' (stop it)

A place for sound freaks lashing out from the dark. 

So there's all kinds of stuff on this page, but after months of schizophrenic debates about who was playing with who and who took the lead while doing it, finally, the decision was made: all my alter egos got together and decided to form a band. From 2020 on new tracks are created under the moniker Gruppo Infernal. Only pure MMTJ tracks will still be named as such. 

Gruppo Infernal still relies on my work as Me, my Thumb and Jack, an ongoing quest for a liberating approach to sound creation where the human body acts as an oscillator amplifying the natural 50hz hum. Direct live recording, improvisations and delay loops only using analog filters and effects. No editing, no overdubs. Gruppo Infernal adds digital treatment to this original sound material. 

UnterPitch was an alter ego using samples & synths.
Bleached Coffins was a one-off project using guitars.
