The Munch Bunch

This project tells a story of my journey over the past few years. Relationships that have come and gone, and those that have stayed and flourished. Journeys across the world and back from rural villages in Africa, to the Fjords of Iceland, to the populated streets of Mumbai, to the calming sound of the Call to Prayer in the streets of Lahore, Pakistan. All of these moments and experiences have culminated into stories. These stories are now passed down through various recreations and various forms of art.

I wanted to create something that looked, felt, and sounded authentically me. 

I wanted to create something that authentically represented my village and my community, just a bunch of munchers.

The Funny Farm EP

I present you my second full bodied work: The Funny Farm.

This EP like much of my art is inspired by my personal experiences as well as my travels to communities far and wide across the world. 

Specifically this EP is inspired by my dreams of someday having a farm full of animals, friends, and family with the goal of cultivating a deep sense and lifestyle of community and creativity. Additionally this body of work tells the stories of all the critters I have had the opportunity to visit and interact with from the farms of rural Pakistan, to the villages of Sierra Leone, to the cow temples of Punjab India, to the Icelandic horses roaming the country side.

I am grateful for all the support in bringing this vision to life and look forward to continuing to expand the world of MNATEE in the projects to come

I present to you my annual showcase mix “The Munch Files Vol. 2”

My goal in creating this was to push the boundaries of my skill set in production, djing, and storytelling.

This mix tells a story of the past year of my life and all the highs and lows that we all experience throughout the course of the year. Moments of the highest of highs and the lowest of low.

In this mix you will find 9 original tracks from myself, including 4 unreleased tracks off of my forthcoming EP “The Funny Farm” set to release early 2024. You will also find unreleased tracks from some of my favorite up and coming artists, as well as the tracks that inspired me throughout the past year.

The cover art for this mix tells a story of what is to come next for the MNATEE project. A journey to another world. A place so foreign, but yet it also feels so much like home. Sierra Leone I will see you soon
