We've always shared a love of music, gravitated towards people who are musically inclined and had an itch that we were hopeful, would one day be scratched with the opportunity to try the disc jockey thing for ourselves.  And then, lo and behold, our YourShot journey started.

Our confidence in ourselves, our abilities to learn, to grow, to get out of our comfort zones, to go up to strangers and introduce ourselves when we're feeling vulnerable has empowered us to improve and pursue everything we've learnt/still have to learn about all things music. 

As a couple who have been together for a long time and do a lot of things together, YourShot competition was a testament to our relationship. To see how far we've pushed each other (driven each other insane), supported and loved each other through the learning curves and mistakes and grown in such a small amount of time makes us realise we can do anything.

Yaroslav Gorovoy, known as MNEEMO, is a DJ and music producer based in London. MNEEMO grew up inspired by artists like Sigma, Moby, and The Prodigy. Teaching himself FL Studio as a teen, he started making tracks that fueled his passion for music.

At 17, Yaroslav moved to London to pursue his dreams, releasing hits like Far Away, Euphoria, and Chainsmoking, along with his debut album Love Pistols. In 2022, he started a series of live DJ sets on YouTube, filmed in stunning locations worldwide, quickly gaining hundreds of thousands of views.

MNEEMO has performed at top venues across London, including B-London, Cirque le Soir, and Dear Darling Mayfair, earning a reputation for his vibrant performances and unique sound in the electronic music scene.
