We have the pleasure to introduce the sixteenth artist of our mix series, the Spanish selector @daviidhidalgo

David Hidalgo is a 24-year-old Barcelona-born DJ, now based in Alicante, and part of the new wave of underground artists. His journey into electronic music started young, but it wasn’t until 22 that he fully embraced DJing, forming the duo B2D with his friend Borja. Together, they have played across Spain, sharing the stage with respected artists. Recently, David has begun developing his solo career, exploring his sound further while remaining active with B2D. A dedicated vinyl enthusiast, he incorporates the format into his sets, adding depth and spontaneity to his performances.

His style is rooted in minimal, heavily influenced by late 2000s house and Ibiza’s underground scene. His sets blend hypnotic grooves with carefully curated selections, often reaching back 10-15 years to rediscover overlooked gems. In the studio, he has spent years refining his productions, with his first releases set to arrive soon. Focused on musical storytelling rather than strict genre boundaries, David aims to create dynamic and immersive experiences, both in the booth and in the studio.
