We begin our adventure with a trip to the yacht shoppe.  This tune takes us through my decision process, which ended with me settling on a 50' Cheoy Lee Lapworth.

And just what did I write this one in?  Phrygian Mode of the C Major scale, which makes it E Phrygian.

Finding the 250' Schopfer Oculus to be more my speed, I proceeded to simply board one and skedaddle.  It wasn't difficult to outrun absolutely everything else.  Or at least look like I was doing so...

This one was done in E Minor.

Piloting the Oculus is just a dream, in more ways than one.

This is a Dorian Mode tune.  D Dorian, to be precise, since it's in C Major.  It modulates to D# Dorian and back again.

This nautical term refers to malingering in the hopes of getting an easy task.  You see, taking depth readings by swinging a lead ball was considered a relatively easy thing to be doing on a ship of yore.  As it happens, I found that I'd rather be lounging that captaining, hence this one's title.
