In that moment, you cried out to Allah, or God as some of us call Him, admitting that you were tired of being one of His strongest soldiers. You were exhausted—not just from the visible scars of your past, but from the deep wounds buried in your soul, those battles fought silently, tucked away in the recesses of your mind. You never had time to heal; you just carried that trauma like armor, ignoring the pain as you trudged forward.

But those dark forces, those unseen powers, they didn’t know the full story. They didn’t realize that while to you, those struggles were battles, to Allah they were something more—a refining fire. Each hardship was training, molding your spirit, building your strength for what was to come. With every hit you took, God was preparing you, fortifying your heart, evolving your resilience. He was not punishing you; He was preparing you. “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” (Jeremiah 29:11). And now it all begins to make sense. The relentless attacks, the matrix closing in, the powers and principalities targeting you—they knew your purpose, even before you did. You were meant to disrupt their reign, to break through their hold, to cause them hell.

In the stillness of the night, while reading Surah Ayat 50:39 just before the dawn, it struck me: no matter how deep the suffering, I must glorify Allah. Even in my pain, I'm called to magnify Him because He is the One guiding me through every battle, helping me transcend my limitations. With that realization, a fire lit within me. Now, I stand ready—not just for another battle, but for war, and I'm coming for what's mine.

But let it be known, I'm no saint. I stumbled, I’ve fallen, and I’ve done my share of wrongs and my music tells that story. I'm not proud of my misdeeds, I'm not the best role model by any means, but I believe—deep in my core—that God can take the worst case scenarios & turn them into His favor.

Trying to love someone who hasn't completely healed from a trauma bond can be disastrous. Hurt people hurt people. I feel as though some people may operate out of a survival instinct after being repeatedly disappointed. Your triggers may trigger somebody else's triggers. We might think they playing with our emotions, but maybe that's just a defense mechanism that their subconscious mind put in place to help protect them. Communicating with each other about past trauma can help prevent pain.
