Dheeraj Mathew hails from the so-called "Gods own country" Kerala, south cost of India, currently based in Goa. Being highly inspired by psychedelic culture, he debuted his solo project under the name SACRED MANTRA with musical selection which represents the dark side of the psychedelic trance music. Throughout this musical journey,  he found himself more attracted to the organic forest sounds of the night with heavy baselines and the vision to teleport one to the magical lands. 

He represents BANYAN RECORDS and VANAGHOTRA RECORDS as a label DJ, same time working with various events, festivals, producers and other representatives of psychedelic movement. In 2020 he released his first VA compilation "Paths in Nature" collaborating with producers around the globe.  Represents India as ambassador of Nayama festival located in Armenia. He performed numerous gigs in and outside of India, sharing the stage along with masters of sound such as Abyss ooze, Megalopsy, Claw, Tromo, Antonymous, Komfuzius, Mindbenders, Iguana, Sanathana, Audhumbla and others.

After years of musical exploration he found himself interested in playing with various genres, resulting with alter ego side project named KAAVU, which is evolving around psytech, darkprog and forest prog sounds.

In 2021 he became a founder of project "Urban Tribes" to create and curate events with organic sounds from around the world, focusing on fusion of live acts of ethnic instruments and hypnotic dance music. 

He is currently aimed at bringing his DJ sets to festivals and venues locally and globally and working on his own production and few collaborative pieces.

ISOMETRIC Live @ The Hive | MoDem Festival 2018

This time KULU presents for the audience a mix of new and old tracks which were released by Insomnia Records in the past years.

The man behind Kulu project is Dimitri K. from Thessaloniki, Greece.
He fell into music at a young age, had influences from multiple music styles and scenes.
Around 1996 he starts mixing psytrance, and appears already in parties, which definitely makes him one of the oldest DJs of the scene here.

Later on he becomes also a significant producer, renowned for his participation in Metallaxis, a project anybody will remember, which was formed by Romolo (Polyphonia) and him around the year 2003.

Finally, in the year 2005, some of his solo releases are published and the Kulu project is official productionwise.

He has a long story behind him, he also travelled and played abroad a lot.
Some of his important performances include Boom festival, Forgotten Ritual and Psycrowdelica, but also a big variety of parties nationally and internationally.

Darkymedes es un matemático de músicas oscuras, un paisajistas sonoro, un contador de historias que no utiliza las palabras, mitad vampiro y apariencia de dj.. Todo sumado.

Aunque se conocen muy pocos detalles de su vida cotidiana bajo la claridad del dia, sabemos que este personaje ha dedicado gran parte de su tiempo libre experimentado en la oscuridad.

iLoopsion meditó mucho mientras bailaba largo tiempo en raves y festivales de todo el mundo con músicas más oscuras que las noches. Toda esa observación, inspiró su genial idea, el principio de Darkymedes.

Los libros de historias cuentan que, iLoops, una oscura noche, en el oscuro sótano de una casa rural, pegándose la fiesta, impulsado por la alegría de todos sus descubrimientos musicales, entusiasmado e iluminado por la gran potencia y oscuridad que conseguía obtener con máquinas capaces de hacer bailar los cuerpos sin un esfuerzo aparente, aseguró: “Dadme sonido y moveré el mundo.”

Dark-Forest, Dark Psy, Hi-tech y Psycore son las fórmulas musicales favoritas que aplica en sus sesiones. Amante de las mezclas directas y de las melodías en la linea de los graves.
