At least that's what we did in the summer of 2021, when the window of opportunity opened up for us to organize a small gathering after a year of the pandemic.

We are happy to share sounds from unique Mo:Dem Mutations events.

Mo:Dem Mutations V.1 : from 9 to 15 August 2021 
Mo:Dem Mutations V.2 : from 16 to 22 August 2021

Mo:Dem Mutations V.1 & V.2 took place on the lower part of the Mo:Dem location, on the banks of the Mrežnica river. Mutations were featuring our usual musical program, with a slight alteration. As The Hive stage was closed, visitors were able to witness a unique, once-in-a-modemtime experience of The Hive music concept on The Swamp island. At the same time The Seed featured a blend of The Swamp and The Seed music.

Once again we wish to express our love and gratitude to the friends, family, artists and visitors that supported us during these weird and hard times. Next edition of Mo:Dem Festival is scheduled for 8 - 14 August 2022.

Go deep the rabbit hole to the word of abstract. Genre-fluid audio journey into the world of dark minimal, psy tech and zenonesque, this time with a Kafka Tempo special part 1, and a guest mix by FOLIC STATE. Producer, DJ and A&R for Soupherb Records, Folic State is regarded as one of Indian dance world's most venerated lurkers. He has played a vital role in shaping the minimal & psy techno scene in India for over a decade. An illustrious producer, his music explores the tension between light and dark, formulating expansive soundscapes among warm, driving percussion. The enigmatic producer has been producing top dance tracks for the last few years, which has won him a strong fan base both, locally and globally. Be it his DJ sets or productions, Folic State weaves a story of sound; decidedly buoyant through its moments of clarity, pensive and introspective when concealed.

Through hypnotic beats, pulsating basslines, and atmospheric soundscapes, he explores their contrasts and connections—where rhythm and emotion collide on the dancefloor.  Laxberger’s sound is complex, elusive, yet captivating. Between expansive minimalism, deep basslines, and razor-sharp tech-house cuts, he keeps us entranced, forgetting to go home. Heads on, heads out, heads down—whatever! He guides, never imposes, blending empathy with creativity.  Rooted in Dortmund and shaped by hip-hop influences, his style is fluid, contrasting yet balanced. His sets are unfiltered and demanding—music as therapy, offering escape and insight. Sometimes bold, sometimes composed, always in sync with the moment.  Laxberger kicks down doors—all we have to do is step through. See you on the floor!

BREGER kicks off a new series presenting Kafka Tempo's soundscapes: "This set showcases the full range of my label Kafka Tempo, moving from Minimal through Psytechno and Darkprog, with a few broken-beat pit stops along the way. Performed live at Psyworthy in Portugal, May 2025." Goa-based BREGER is not one to sit still. As the owner of Kafka Tempo and co-founder of Copycow and Beatplantation Festival in Germany, he has spent 20 years supporting underground culture. His music has appeared on labels like Zenon and Soupherb, with standout releases including Hippies in Danger. With three LPs and hundreds of tracks, he moves between minimal and raw techno, always carrying a dark and groovy edge. His love for psychedelic elements is evident in his productions and continues to inspire. In his sets, Breger keeps things unpredictable, blending improvised sounds and samples to break away from repetition. He shifts freely between live and DJ sets, flowing with the moment. With a busy summer of gigs ahead, his winter months will be spent in residency with the beach collective Vortex Goa.

2017 habe ich das erste mal einen Rave erleben dürfen, diese Erfahrung hat mich direkt gehookt. Mir war vorher nie bewusst wie unglaublich faszinierend elektronische Musik sein kann, die darauf folgende Zeit bin ich also immer öfter auf Techno Veranstaltungen gegangen und beschloss dann 2019 mir auch mal einen DJ-Controller  und Traktor Pro 3 zu kaufen. Es hat mir unglaublich viel Spaß gemacht Musik aufzulegen, weshalb ich dann mein Setup mit der Zeit erweiterte. mittlerweile bin ich stolzer Besitzer eines Allen & Heath Xone 96, welches das Herzstück meines Setups ist. zudem benutze ich Von Native Instruments zwei X1, und einen F1. Eine Maschine MK3 habe ich mir auch noch zugelegt. Mein Ziel ist es mich auf ein Live - Hybrid Style hinzuarbeiten, um meiner Kreativität keine Grenzen zu setzen.
