Recording of my DJ set from xXETEXx night at Hammahalle (Sisyphos), where I played from 04 to 07 on Sunday, 4.12.2022. and shared the stage with Josephine Wedekind, Herrmann Stöhr and Aka Nina. 

From my post, published on 23rd November:

"Rhetorical question. Did you know that for every story you share (with disgust, pleasure or disdain) about the success of a female producer / DJ in the scene that is based only or mostly on good looks, you ignore the majority of women on the scene. Women who have built their careers and success, apart from their good looks, only on persistence, hard work, quality, a good ear and excellent selection and technique. It is time that, in addition to insisting on gender equality, we also talk about the negative approach and attitude we have. 

With great pride, honor and happiness I will share the DJ booth with three women with a capital W who have made me dance, cheer up and laugh on more than one occasion."

Respect and gratitude to the people I shared the dancefloor with that night and my vision of music during part of it.

This ADN Music episode features PIR2 with a set titled "Wicked Wanderer", evolving from groovy melodic into dark and deep atmospheres spotlighting the variety of our label and representing his personal, twisted and narrative universe. PIR2 is a DJ project born in early 2017, currently a Label DJ for ADN Music. Born into a family where both his mother and brother are skilled musicians. David Hellquist from Gothenburg, Sweden has always found that music/sound was his main focus in life. Starting in the year of 2008 with electronic music, he felt an eager to create twisting sounds and noises that had been bugging his head and only when he felt he accomplished it he could find peace of mind. The tunes may vary from Dark Progressive/Psygressive with a “twisted-tech-glitch”-touch to different E.D.M genres such as Techno, Minimal, Deep/Tech and House.
