Today we celebrate the Winter Solstice in the Northern hemisphere. A time of year where we have the longest of nights followed by shortest of days. In many ancient cultures this marks the symbolic death and rebirth of the sun and for many of us this midwinter day represents a shift, the end of a cycle and beginning of a new one, where we're going towards brighter times.

We'd like to host our celebration and final chapter of the Navigare Audio podcast for 2021 together with our dear friend and brother NESS from Italy. Visualize yourself barefoot on the psychedelic dancefloor together with your friends, turn on the volume and tune in to this set from this years edition of Modem Festival.

DJ and label owner Linny Hex’s hallmark as one of Sweden’s most frequent techno DJ’s is to flourish on the borderland of night club and underground parties. Recognized from supporting Swedish electronic music on Swedish national radio you might have crossed paths with her as she performed at Department festival, Into the Valley or Norberg Festival. Today Linny balances her dj career with managing her vinyl only label Kvalia Records, already known as having cementing its position in the deep techno scene by releasing records produced by the likes of Psyk, Anthony Linell, Exos and Blazej Malinowski.

After once again being able to experience the European summer festival season we have one of our highlights of this year for the podcast. We got the chance to hear his three hour set in The Dome at Ozora Festival and it was inevitable to invite him to publish one for us as well. Mastermind of the brilliant Liquid Drop Groove and label dj for the renowned Matsuri back in the days, please welcome Yuta from Japan who'll take us on a ~2 hour power trip with his recording from VENT in Tokyo.

Bio:
YUTA is a DJ / Organizer / Label A&R from Japan and started his career in 2004. His playfulness and visions are evident in his transformation from a leading Retro 90’Goa trance DJ under legendary Matsuri Digital, to his Psychedelic Techno project Liquid Drop Groove.

His music, which he describes as PSYCHEDELIC with build up and cinematic flow is a result of his huge experience as an artist, performing at major festivals such as Eclipse Festival (Australia/Indonesia/USA), Ozora (Hungary), Modem (Croatia), Tribal Gathering (Panama) etc. And numerous clubs in Asia and some Europe.

YUTA started “Agaitida" based in Okinawa in 2015. The theme of the festival is to bridge South-East Asia with a beautiful sunset location in a world heritage village.

His own Psychedelic Techno label Liquid Drop Groove was established in 2016 with a vision to create a space and soundwave that mimics a ripple made by a single drop on the surface of the water. From 2021, launched 2 festivals. EDEN an open air festival with the theme of "Paradise in the Sky" and SPECTACLE a conceptual party with DJ Nobu. 

YUTA provides mixes for London's NTS Radio that one of the best in internet radio, and for maniacal podcasts that reach a core audience around the world. He also runs to quality releases on Liquid Drop Groove, and managing podcasts and distributing downbeat videos. And write articles on Clubberia, a traditional media for electric music. Create a new wave in the techno scene by an original style.

Having travelled in the world and reached the realization that “Life = Psychedelic” he is on a mission to continue with the concept of “Reforming Consciousness”

Liquid Drop Groove is featuring FERAL and this 'Feral × LDG' set. Marked by his awakened sensibility to depth, Feral consistently carries a thread of spirituality throughout his work. He has inherently embodied the spirit of deep techno, of which defines Hypnus Records, through his passion for audio engineering, hardware experimentation and fascination for percussive instruments. Feral’s affinity for the shamanic calls of the tribal drum have led him across the world to discover and nurture his defining sound. Finding comfort in the solitude of his studio, Feral’s visions emerge in the crepusular hours of his native city, Rome. With a heightened sense of spatial awareness, the sounds of Feral unearth the path of his multidimensional world, transporting the listener to a haunting, yet grounding refuge within.

Capodanna is an Oslo based dj. She has always been extremly passionate about music and knew that she wanted to express herself through it. After she discovered hypnotic techno she felt the calling to start mixing and telling her own stories. In January 2021 she published her first mix on her own soundcloud. After that she started to get invited to play at events, both locally and internationally.

Her mixes has been featured on podcasts such as Dazedspoon, Charybdis, Aura Productions, Anodynic Frequencies, Altrove and Navigare Audio.
