The next release on NoZzo Music comes courtesy of the highly regarded Zurich-based duo, Kantarik. Well known for their driving, energetic sets, and distinctive musical palate, Kaan Tan and Ricardo Quao’s latest creation comes equipped with two original cuts and remixes from DJ Entwan and fast-rising UK duo Murphy’s Law.

Opening the EP with the title track ‘Traction’, the duo hit the ground running with a pacy roller loaded with a rhythmic cadence and subtle melodic factors. Building on a base of crisp percussion, its solid beat structure, and heavy low-frequency pulse give it a slightly tribal flavour. The track’s key emphasis on building climatic phases is closely matched by the frequent delivery of hammering drops that throw you face-first back into the groove.
 
DJ Entwan follows up with an impressive remix. The track’s almost nonchalant feel echoes that terrace tech style that has been made globally famous by the likes of Music On and its stable of artists. An enjoyable rolling track, focussing on building a constant groove with a catchy bassline, creative fills, and sampling. 

Another beefy offering from Kantraik in ‘Microlized’ taking a loosely swung line instead of the previous 4/4 structure. Rambunctious rhythm with captivating snares and another sturdy kick and sub-bass combo, making this a certified hip-swinger that was built for the peak time and packed dancefloors.

Bringing the release to a close, Murphy’s Law exhibits another firm reminder of their seemingly endless arsenal of creative ideas. Championed for their versatility, the duo's 'Feelin’Good Remix’ of ’Microlized’ features a heavy melodic focus and offers a refreshing spin on Tech House as a whole. Groovy, heavy, makes you want to move and is incomparable; again highlighting the Leicester-based artists’ innate distinctiveness.

For the next edition of our compilation series, we invite a slew of label friends and newcomers to supply the winter warmers with an impressive collection of dancefloor heaters to shield you from the bitter cold and keep you grooving.

Opening the release, Oravla Ziur’s ‘Left Right’ kicks things off with a pacy and percussive-led jam. Driven by bright synth leads, its progressively rising energy combines with danceable grooves and steering vocal layers to put you on your toes.

‘Bomboclap’ comes next as Kevin York turns in a nonchalantly stripped back record with prominent low-frequency emphasis. A bed of instrumental elements create movement between strong sub-bass notes and heavyset kick drums, carving out an exquisite roller.

MrT & Simov join up with Gustaff on ‘Sex In The Morning’. An undeniably groovy affair with a terrace feel. Punchy drum work meets tonal percs, whilst subtle harmonics and a vocal lead ride gently in the background, leaving you in a swaying trance.

‘Cornerstone Of House’ follows, with Joseff Jones showcasing a bass-heavy melting pot of driving sounds. A sturdy base of beats and rhythmic flair collide with sensual vocal chops and a huge bassline for a certified dancefloor mover!

Dec Hails’ ‘Radio Contact’ is next up, bringing a pulsating array of lightly bouncing factors. Tonal toms slide in and out of crisp hat grooves and hefty drums, dissected by gentle synths and softly rising strings to keep you gliding from end to end.

R Federick & Guti Legatto’s ‘Abre Caminos’ take things for a tribal-inspired minimal twist, focusing heavily on hypnotic tones and late-night moods. Primal energy and mesmerizing melodies will keep you firmly fixed under its enchanting spell and sirenic grip.

‘Maker It Party’ follows as Cardozo pumps you full of main room rolling gusto. Built around hooking sub-bass and creative vocal constructions, its energetic bed of drums and percussion round off a largely-appealing peak time cut.

Cristian Rosso’s ‘Token’ brings the VA to a close with a progressively building groove tool. Incrementally adding layers of movement and melody, the track’s perpetual energy offers a captivating ebb and flow from start to finish.

Ramin Rezaie reveals new label Silky Records to open 2022, launching via slick single, 'Take You'.

A name embedded within the UK house scene, featuring as a core member of the Solid Grooves family, DJ and producer Ramin Rezaie continues to grow as an underrated artist making some serious noise. Dropping killer cuts via both of Solids Grooves' labels, plus further material on the likes of Deeperfect and Snatch!, the UK talent now adds the title of label boss to his resumé as he launches his own label, Silky Records. Named after his 2021 single on SG Raw, the label will showcase 'clean-cut, silky beats' from Rezaie alongside tracks from undiscovered and established talent from across the globe - with the imprint founder kicking things off in style to close January via his new single, 'Take You'.

A slick production fusing tight, precise drums, skipping hats, wriggling basslines and hooky vocals throughout, 'Take You' delivers another slice of dancefloor ammunition from the bubbling Brit as he looks set for a big twelve months in 2022. Don't sleep on this!

For almost a decade the German talent Arado has been a recurrent name of the hottest Tech and House labels where he has dropped iconic tracks like the infamous 'Strange Neighbors' via Moon Harbour Recordings side to side with Marco Faraone. In this occasion he has changed his studio mate and teamed up the italian tech-house head, Lonely. A great producer with tracks on Rawthentic or Desolat. They both made a couple of weapons on this 'Get Me' EP. First up, tittle cut opens things with a 909 styled drum beat and slippery hats. An MC vocal offers a funny side to the track while the strong bass line offers a nice low-end. Next up, 'Space Perc' has a great latino vibe due to the pitched congas and the evocative shouts offering a great b-side tool.
