Exodus delves into the odyssey of the Dove family as they journey from Bryan, Texas to the vibrant landscapes of Los Angeles in the 1960s. In Nexcyia’s quest to
encapsulate the dystopian surrealism of the Dove family's journey, he aims to harnesse the power of sound as a potent tool of storytelling. Drawing inspiration from the
decaying landscapes and moving atmospheres that surrounded them, he crafted a sonic tapestry that transcended traditional music composition, immersing listeners
in a visceral experience of their journey.
Nexcyia's approach to sound design is meticulous and reflective, as he seeks to manipulate and distort familiar elements into something altogether otherworldly. He
samples the haunting echoes of lost voices weaving them into the fabric of his compositions to evoke the desolation and decay of the world around them. The subtle
but metallic clang of rusted objects are granulized, while the distant hum of malfunctioning electronics formed a dissonant melody that lingered in the subconscious
like a half-remembered dreams.
Nexcyia seeks to infuse his compositions with a sense of hope and resilience, drawing on the indomitable spirit of the Dove family as they navigated through the
dystopian wasteland. Amidst the cacophony of chaos and despair, he introduces moments of ethereal beauty, incorporating haunting melodies and soaring harmonies
that pierced through the darkness like shafts of light breaking through storm clouds.
Through sound, Nexcyia transformed the Dove family's odyssey into an immersive auditory experience, blurring the lines between music and storytelling. Each
composition is a journey in itself, an afro-sonic tapestry that can transport listeners into the heart of a multiverse. And in doing so, he not only captures the essence of
their journey but also invited listeners to embark on their own odyssey of discovery and transformation.

24 years old, the self-proclaimed 'clothed and courageous' kodiki definitely is one of the most promising artists to emerge from (not only) the Slovakian electronic scene in recent years. First and foremost, the jovial and ever-kinetic enigma is a producer, model, and performer known for his engaging stage presence that feels more like a performative adrenaline rush than a standard guy+laptop situation. After self-releasing a couple of singles, including '300dB' and the 'Muliebre' EP, he later doubled up with a well-received '600dB' EP, all while being busy playing prominent triple-A festivals as well as off-the-grid ratholes.
While live, kodiki's signature animated self-puppetry embodies the sound itself to the extent that it becomes an inseparable part of his real-time sonic narration. Highly recommended to catch him live with his highly anticipated debut album, which Gin&Platonic is now honored to present.

Right from the start, the airy longplay welcomes us with flappy open arms and pours over us with precise sound design and high-octane rhythms, leaving you with a grin from ear to ear. In Your Excellence, every beat dares to be both pristine and primal. Each one fabricates a pulse-pounding joyride through sun-faded ambience, perpetually veering from trancey euphoria into glitchy chaos and all the way back. It is sleek but always one slip away from getting messy – an intentional collision of composition that makes for an exhilarating listen as kodiki flexes some plot-twisting hard skills and masterfully builds and teases with the momentum of a surprise seismic catharsis.
Closely tightened with body movement, the album flows with an admitted spontaneity, as kodiki’s production is distinguished by a certain human touch that electronic music, with its often mechanical approach, frequently lacks. Your excellence, the tea is SERVED.

A departure from previous drum-heavy club releases, the full-length integrates TCV's discordant use of guitar, the root of his sonic palette. "I Will Find A Center In You" shifts its focus towards harmony, melodic sensitivity and introspection. The album offers an unsettling and dissonant experience as an entry point into TCVs music.
