C-MO (born Clifton Powell) not only keeps it genuine, he uses a different approach on how he delivers his words. He is more than just the passionate and sometimes harsh person he displays with his delivery, he is very humble and doesn't take for granted the life he's lived in these streets. He is serious about making a name for himself amongst the rest in the hip-hop community, and plans on doing so by putting in diligent work into honing his craft. C-MO can best be defined by his multifarious flow and make no mistake has the knowledge to know when and how to use his versatility as well. This D.C. based artist has recognized new methods and trends emerging within the rap scene and has applied what he's learned into deepening his own skills on the mic. He hopes by doing so he'll gather more appreciation for his style of music and will gain respect for the grind he's put in.

One thing this artist has learned is the state of mind to know respect wont come from grinding, but from what he has to say and the style he brings with it. He's already had the ability to appeal to the underground scene by performing at various open mics, through word of mouth, and through the feedback he's received from various social media outlets. C-MO's current fan base hasn't just been local admirers, he's been able to reach both coasts, and recently claiming the most fans by touching the ears of the folks out in the United Kingdom. His most loyal have provided positive feedback due to his hostile output and unequivocal lyrics he brings from real-life experiences - mainly composed of the different environments he's lived in, negativity within the community, attitudes he's faced, and the struggles he's encountered in the music industry.

Clearly humbled by the love he's received, its been those hurdles that have made C-MO decide to expand his horizons into other endeavors as well. One of which he found himself doing a stint in the newest indie film released by DMV (short abbreviation for the three states, DC, Maryland, and Virginia) producer Phokis Philms entitled "Dead Money". The film ironically features the same name actor Clifton Powell, who is best known for his role in the Ice Cube movie and sequel; "Next Friday", and "Friday After Next". Another project is more of a personal vision he has to help other aspiring artists through his newly founded company Zero Tolerance Music Group...its mission to be a helping hand in guiding those within it's echelon into gaining the success each entity is pursuing.

In the meantime C-MO's focus at the time is to put the finishing touches into his first solo mixtape album "Under The Radar", which he hopes will be the stepping stone to getting him the exposure he wants to push his career to the next level. Being praised for his lyrical content and not falling into the common cliche's that are heard on the radio nowadays C-MO's diversity is a welcomed addition into the hip-hop world and he's hoping people will be paying attention.
