For the first single from a 6-track EP from Montreal's Clarian (who is also one half of Footprintz), the Canadian reached well beyond the border to collaborate with Tel Aviv-born, Madrid-based producer Guy Gerber on "Claire." Gerber has been a major player on Israel's electronic scene since 2006, running his own Supplemental Facts label and infusing traces of minimal techno, tech house, downtempo and deep house in his productions, while remaining singular in his approach. Clarian's vocal contributions were at the heart of Gerber's progressive house-leaning Fabric mix from last year, which joined the likes of Ricardo Villalobos and Omar-S of artists that turned in single-artist mixes to the series. "Claire" starts amid a queasy vocal snippet (with Clarian's French whisper lodged in at the midpoint) and threatens to go darker and deeper. But a steady handclap and glimmering melodic line uplifts and casts light across this seven-minute track.

With a combined career that spans 40 years in the business, Italian producers Paul C & Paolo Martini have been, seen and done it all.
As part of Bini & Martini, Paolo was without doubt one of the most prolific house producers at the turn of the century, touring the globe and lending their remix talents to major dance labels like Defected, Strictly Rhythm, AM:PM, EMI, Universal, Sony and many of the worlds biggest pop acts such Jamiroquai, Kylie Minogue, Terence Trent D’Arby, Murk, Armand Van Helden and many many more. Paolo is now the driving force behind his own brilliant imprint, Paul’s Boutique.
Paul C has honed his production skills since the mid ‘90’s and his energetic brand of tech-house has seen him release on a host influential labels. Since 2009 the pair have worked tirelessly in the studio and not only seen their music supported by many of the industry’s biggest names like Marco Carola, Loco Dice, DJ Sneak and many more...
Now they're coming for a massive EP on Cécille Numbers. The label founder Nick Curly and Marc Scholl just could not choose any favorite track and decided to take four tracks on one EP. Jamie Jones is back with a killer release for Crosstown Rebels. New single ‘Moan & Groan’ is a vintage Jones production full of bounce, quirks and sex appeal. It's joined by two remixes of ‘Tonight In Tokyo’ from Jamie’s album of secret weapons ‘Tracks From The Crypt’, released last summer. Both showcasing their own sharp, signature styles, Ben Westbeech’s darker alias Breach drops the deep bass while French house icons Cassius introduce epic chords and sky­scraping synth lines.

Jamie Jones is renowned for his innovative music; his cross genre band, Hot Natured; and his pioneering label, Hot Creations ­ now with the off­shoot Hot Trax. We are celebrating Suruba’s 6th anniversary! More than five years in which the label has gradually grown into establishing itself as one of the most respected labels on the national level and with a recognized prestige in the international arena.
Throughout this time, we can feel proud of our editing the work of artists like Tigerskin, Robert Babicz, Gorge, Ripperton, Mihalis Safras, Spektre, Hot Since 82, Edu Imbernon, Pirupa, Huxley, Okain, Henry Saiz , AFFKT, Anthony Collins, Betoko, Marcin Czubala, Amine Edge, Lopazz, Adriatic, Ludovic Vendi, El Mundo & Satori, UNER, Siopis and so on to complete a list of more than 140 artists.

To celebrate this, we have decided to publish a compilation with works of the home members (AFFKT, Edu Imbernon, Marc Poppcke, Jorge Takei or Acid District) and new additions who will debut on the label (Atapy, Sean Roman, Room 303 or LO), a compilation that will be released in four weekly deliveries (each Friday in May) being the last of them, the one that will contain all the tracks and a dj mix with all the themes by Los Suruba.

The third part of the anniversary, counts with one of the last works of the combo formed by Edu Imbernon and Los Suruba, besides a second cut by the french LO.

“De Trankis" is a track created by the fathers of the birthday guy together with his favorite study colleague: Edu Imbernon. Together they’ve released on labels like Get Physical, Culprit, Stil Vor Talent, Noir or Eklektisch ... and the best is yet to come.

The crowning of the cake is by the frech LO. Still not very known to date but he will give us much to talk about, so we recommend you dearly to listen to his works on underground labels like Wiggle or Veryverywrongindeed!
