Proud of You!

A slow, gently paced orchestral piece based on Luna/Nightmare Moon’s banishment about 1000 years ago. Mostly string instrumentation, not too long, but already a bit old. If you consider things that were made in October 2015 old at least. Some people may not, who knows?

The Banishment

This is basically just a short theme I composed for Selfie Snapshot's Snapshot News. Nothing too special to say about this. If someone can hear the full morse code synth by the way: I am impressed.

I'm much busier than I thought I would be at this point in time. I actually wanted to compose a new piece for my YouTube channel and overall online presence every month now. Unfortunately, I won't really be able to do that this month. So I thought I may just deliver this. It's something at least, isn't it?

Your Reality || Cover By EbonyTails

What started as a simple idea on piano and electrified double bass almost three months ago has now become a piece 71 bars long with a vast arrangement of different orchestral sounds and colours to set the tone and communicate the feeling that is captured by the simple piano motif. Curious and breathy patterns, gritty and harsh contrabasses, the sounds of wind and air and energising electric zither parts are only some of the variety of elements the new main menu theme employs. The theme for the anniversary was made to be a new voice that will make the game unique on another level.

Started as a mastering test, decided to turn it into a small upload for the national rollercoaster day.
This is an interpretation of the closing bars from "Unbezwingbar" by IMAscore off of the KÄRNAN score. I recomposed it using my own software, all done by ear while taking some creative freedoms on the way its scored and played.

I suppose this piece is some kind of result of random emotions gathered inside of me - as such I didn't spend a lot of time on it. It's not big, it's not complex - in fact it is tiny and really simplistic/minimalistic. It's not something that I am particularly proud of - nor am I not proud of it. I am not entirely sure what this piece means - by itself or to me personally. Maybe sometime I'll look back on it and figure it out. Still, I thought it worth of being put out there anyway - surely there'll be someone who can appreciate it. Only time will tell, as with many things.
