Santamaria is a serial dreamer. 
And he has pursued every dream with perseverance, grit, and passion. Whether beating the odds to become a professional athlete for the local Soccer Club - Seattle Sounders, building his own boutique resort in his native home, Playa Troncones, or best yet, launching his own brand of House & Techno through his ongoing Noches Lucidas events - Santamaria continues to dream and has found joy and success in his journey. 
Music has always been a part of Santamaria's DNA. His grandfather was a trained violinist and his dad was a lead singer and a self-taught guitar hero for many local bands in Mexico. Electronic music captivated him twice during his developmental years; Daft Punk's Homework album while in high school and attending the Koh Phangan Full Moon Party twice as a young adult, which reminded him there was more to life than the soccer field and inspired him to start mixing music. 
Santamaria has been a resident DJ at Q Nightclub in Seattle for the last six years and continues to build Noches Lucidas, with events in both Mexico and the United States. Santamaria's sets pull from his life experience - taking the audience on an emotional roller coaster, combining the melodic, dreamy and spatial, with the hard-driving dark vibes.

We talked about Israel's professed goal to wipe out Hamas in the Gaza strip and what Israel intends to do with the territory and its population after the end of Operation Iron Swords.
