A legendary producer with an unmistakable sound, Moby lands on Defected for the very first time with ‘You & Me,’ a collaborative package with A-list international producer Anfisa Letyago, featuring remixes from Deetron and Girls of the Internet. 

Moby’s pioneering releases since the 1991 mainstream breakthrough ‘Go’ have cemented him as one of dance music’s most important artists, with over 20 million records sold worldwide encompassing all genres from downtempo, punk and rock to house, electronic and ambient. Moby’s influence on the next generation is palpable, inspiring artists like Anfisa Letyago who has rapidly emerged as a newschool titan. 

The acclaimed electronic producer, hailing from Italy, has amassed a huge following and global stream count thanks to her adaptive style, allowing her to thrive in both underground spaces and on major electronic stages worldwide. Together the pair unveil their first collaborative original, ‘You & Me,’ showcasing two creatives at their very best. Understated and intricate, Moby’s expertise with vocal manipulation combines with Anfisa Letyago’s ultra-modern sensibilities for a truly unique release on Defected.

The package includes three remixes, the first from Swiss producer Deetron who takes the spacious original and adds his signature underground feel,inspired by the soulful techno and house birthed in Detroit. Next up, Girls of the Internet’s Tom Kerridge gives the track a soulful, deep house touch, followed by an ethereal and expansive remix from Moby.

Under the cloak of darkness large shipments travelled the country, from head to toe. They brought with them packages and parcels in all shapes and sizes, a curious assortment of brightly coloured envelopes, bits and bobs. The night mail was an intriguing and mysterious process, a delivery system with a structure and support system all of it's own. People would depend on the delivery of their prized possessions. In warehouses up and down the country, machines whirred and people raced against the sunrise to deliver. 

New Jackson first released 'The Night Mail' on POGO Recordings back in 2011, a beneath the radar anthem with huge potential and firm support from key figures which never quite got the chance to shine. Now Maeve are set to re-release the track with a remix by none other than Mano Le Tough alongside new music from New Jackson himself. Highly recommended.

"Rose's fourth EP, "A Different Story", is - as the name suggests - diferent than the previous ones. With the opening track "Waited for you" the listener gets flashbacks to the 80ies, due to an euphoric synth line and a classic baseline. The second track featuring Heath Ledger’s opinion on journalist criticising Broke Back Mountain, immediately pulls you in. Its story with a trancey syntline and the techno beat "tension" is a true floor filler. The last track - again - totally differs from the other ones, with a groovy baseline. The aggressive base melody on top makes it a great energy booster to be danced upon all night long.
