Sanjonas, aka Yonaz Kristy, is a Yogyakarta-based artist, graphic designer, electronic music producer, and DJ. He is the co-founder of the Bast Cultura music collective; founder of RAR Editions (2012), an interdisciplinary collective focusing on research and archive-based projects; part of the SOFT/BRUTE Records label; and has recently started the label Ear Flux with Brrrz Studio.

Incunabula Heroes, the first solo album on POSTWORLD, is a speculative fiction-based album that envisions the recurring formation of new worlds in the aftermath of a revelatory apocalypse. Over 8 tracks, Sanjonas plays with the idea of how cultures and civilizations would be mixed and merged in such scenarios, with sensemaking thrown aside in favour of something visceral and universal.

For our first release of 2024 we welcome @undrwght, a prolific producer from Mexico who has long been cultivating a highly individual take on Latin club music. On his 𝙔𝙜𝙜𝙙𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙡 EP, his productions burst and blossom, rooted with grimey basslines while vibrating percussion shoots all the way up to the canopies.

In Norse mythology, the Yggdrasil tree connected the many realms of the universe, linking gods, giants, and mortals. Here, Undrwght connects his many musical influences to draw in listeners whatever their natural or supernatural status.

Having already released music by the likes of Cimarrón and Undrwght, POSTWORLD label is no stranger to showcasing Latin American talent to the world. Now adding Iztapalapa-based OS76 to the bill, they're about to drop his 'BAJO PLEASUR3' EP, a collection of murky and unsettling tracks filled with potent bass, sudden turns and mantra-like vocal snippets that all together create a somewhat aggressive ambience destined for a dystopian club experience.

Daniel Barrera aka OS76 is a digital image and sound creator and a cultural manager based in Iztapalapa on the eastern periphery of Mexico City. As OS76, his productions connect rhythms and sequences inspired by ritual, devotion, and the street, blurring genres into pieces that stimulate and encourage.

Forceful bass envelops frenetic compositions representing the aggressiveness and corrosion of daily life in near-uninhabitable expansion zones. Vocal samples dictate unashamed mantras, demanding we obey our instinctive and animal aspects while accepting our contamination by the murky landscapes that surround us. In the nuclear residue of cities, the energies of forgotten populations erupt. A disorienting flow of untameable asperity, a chaotic resonance transmitted from the peripheries."

A newbie DJ group from the district, wants to present a Gabber-style music offering, a combination of Horeg and Jaranan. As well as iconic things on social media such as funny videos and memes as a complement to cooking spices.
Keep in mind this is not a cultural mission and promotion of local traditional arts. But yeah, we are confused, we can’t be like Dipha Barus either. Besides, things that are local are very close to us, so what we bring up are the closest things.
