another weird instance where i have an idea for a track, think "there's no way i could make it sound the way it does in my head," and then i make it sound the way it does in my head. ??? very very happy about it lol!

i loveeeeee this genre, but i'm not actually sure what it is. looking into it, i'm not sure other people know what it is either lol. if you have some insight into "kinda shoegazy but super distorted type beat" lmk

made this little edit when san dropped the stems to this track a year ago, but it just sat around for a while, as i was uncertain exactly how it should progress. wrote the 2nd drop melody a couple months ago, and now i'm pretty happy with it as a full track!

after finding out the original demo for this song was a hands up track, i was rly interested in attempting the idea for myself. been quite interested in the genre lately, so it was a perfect excuse to make another flip. hope it turned out alright!

the bulk of this track was made in january 2023 as a part of a daily song challenge. i've tweaked the production and reworked the last sections of the final drop, but the main elements are fundamentally the same.
it ends up not being the most riddimy, but i've still enjoyed coming back to this one. thanks for checking it out!
