Après avoir écumé les campagnes françaises pour l'enregistrement de Le Bon Coin Forever, Emile Sorlin, alias Forever Pavot a élu domicile dans un studio près la gare de l'est à Paris. En est ressorti l'album La Pantoufle, publié en 2017 par Born Bad Records. Pour Multipistes, il décrypte le 1er morceau de cet album : Le Beefteak.
