On this month's edition of the MindTrip Podcast, we are pleased to welcome on board one of Russian's finest techno exports, Unbalance. He has already built a very solid career with a series of records released on many great labels such as ARTS, Pole Group, Dynamic Reflection as well as his first label that is also called Unbalance. Holding residencies and regular gigs throughout his hometown and also into Europe in clubs like Tresor and Berghain, he quickly gained a reputation as a skillful and excellent DJ with flawless sets moving from classic techno sounds to a more futuristic wave. Aleksandr is also ready to launch his new label project this June, a platform where he will release music of his as well as other artists, newcomers, and veterans. More details will be announced in May. Till then please enjoy a perfect driven techno mix for the next one hour.

"Mod3llrs "Frozen From Above 1998" record sees the mercurial producer step if only initially into more stripped back ground. Opening the LP are two rhythmic stunners, darkened soundscapes with close delay work keep a ferocious pace.

Soon things open out a bit into more traditional territory, this is certainly not traditionally minimal, but as the artist creates a maximalist, strongly defined pressure on the listener you can't help but notice some restraint, a touch of class even. With complex syncopation and his trademark rhythm Frozen From Above 1998 tells the story of a night out in the Xixon Underground.

As an artist Mod3llr is as well travelled as they come, his influences are wide and varied literally spanning the globe. Having spent time in America, Europe, Asia and even Oceana. "Doing a mix for Loose Lips was an  great opportunity to do something UK sounding. So I have decided to do this UK Bass mix with little bit of Breaks and UK Garage."

Marek Moskal (aka Moskalus) was born and currently resides in Ostrava, Czech Republic. He started his musical journey back in 2007 when he created his first YouTube channel where he would upload music from various artists to help them promote their music. With his second channel, he started doing music videos because he wanted to be a part of the scene, not only as a regular uploader, but as someone who wanted to express his own feelings. In November 2014, he had his first big break by making the music video for Bambounou's track "Onto This" which was released on 50Weapons. After that, he gained a greater audience that helped him to work with labels such as: Lobster Theremin, Shall Not Fade, Die Orakel, Pinkman and Lehult. He has also had the opportunity to work with artists such as: Baltra, Fjaak, J. Albert and Benedict Frey.

After years of listening to music and making videos for such artists, Moskalus has developed a wide-ranging taste. In his DJ sets you can expect to hear anything from disco to house, techno, UK Garage or dubstep from the golden era.

And his years of engagement have translated into a deadly recipe for the dance floor. You can hear him jamming it at his infamous Audio Video Bass parties, or right here, for the 290th edition of our Loose Lips Mix Series!

Nordic surroundings, vibrant seasons, and strong elements influences the Stockholm ( Berlin ) based artist Alnö.
Captured by the underground scene of Sweden, first as techno blogger and holder of “Gbgtechno”, the passion for electronic music brought Alnö to start Dj-ing and moved to Berlin in 2017. Becoming a resident of the techno collective Zement, Alnö got the opportunity to form her own sound and play at underground events in Germany and Sweden.
Alnö expresses the sounds of deep, dark and hypnotic techno and her well composed, dynamic sets of evolving and driving soundscapes, powerful beats, and atmospheric rhythms, brings the listener to discover new energies and spheres of sounds.
Alnö combines her artistic side as the founder and curator of the Berlin based event series “Deep x Heights”, focusing on connecting upcoming and established artists together by creating a platform for them to interact, grow and explore their own unique sound.
