FM Slap for ARGON8

This track was an experiment to create a full piece using only the Modal Electronics ARGON 8 synth. This track uses 100% custom patches I developed over the past few months. All the drums, bass, pads and synth sounds are coming direct from the ARGON 8. Only some channel E.Q. and compression to make it more listenable. Enjoy!

Sarkov's Lament

A little improvisation done with our new Modulus 002.  One pass, no overdubs, just a bit of delay. Very much a CS80-inspired sound, programmed by Richard Lacy and Sarah MacDonald.

Drew Neumann (http://www.drewneumann.com/DN_Bio.php) took 002’s arpegiator out for a trip, and ended up producing this wonderful seven and a half minute demo! In Drew’s words, "This was just messing around with the 002 in real time to a Sound Devices 702T, then reassembled in 4 tracks in Digital Performer.  A light dusting of FX here and there, but it's JUST 002.“  Enjoy.

The Funk Police BC

A composer of original music, Kalin Ivanov (www.reverbnation.com/kalin) works both independently and in collaboration with other artists. Beyond Rites (www.reverbnation.com/beyondritesproject) is a project with a Bulgarian singer bringing together an unusual mix of vocals and ambient compositions while his individual work combines electronic and soundtrack influences. Kalin has recently completed a soundtrack for a hypnotherapy CD.

'Solar Pulse' uses the 002 as the backbone of the track supported by Access Virus TI2 Polar, Nord Lead 3, Waldorf Blofeld, Korg Radias and Moog Slim Phatty. The 002 is used for the main arpeggios and sequences, most of the effects (noise) and some of the pads.  The 002 arpeggios are linked by midi to sounds from other synths as this gives more flexibility.

002 in performance mode, keyboard is split with a bass sound at one end and a string sound at the other and a third sound (kid gloves) is playing an arpeggio across the whole keyboard range.
