FM Slap for ARGON8

This track was an experiment to create a full piece using only the Modal Electronics ARGON 8 synth. This track uses 100% custom patches I developed over the past few months. All the drums, bass, pads and synth sounds are coming direct from the ARGON 8. Only some channel E.Q. and compression to make it more listenable. Enjoy!

Wavey Maybe for COBALT5S is a poly lead capable of creating lush walls of sound. This one is perfect for catchy melodies and riffs. The 8th note sync'd ping pong delay and a modest amount of chorus provide a wide stereo image to compliment the fat plucky characteristics of the velocity-sensitive ladder filter envelope. Push up on the XYZ pad to push the mix into Oscillator B. As you push Y further, you'll begin to hear it squeezing Oscillator B's pulse width and expanding the spread detune. When played in tempo using dynamics and a catchy hook, Wavey Maybe is an easy way to craft some lush melodies for tracks and jam sessions.
