i used Handel’s Largo from Xerxes as the seed audio (from archive.org), played in reverse and recorded both via 1) an sm58 at the back of the speaker for a natural low pass and a dictaphone with its mic taped over packed inside foam within a hardcase (which still came out surprisingly bright). plus some tape loops and extra textures. that’s about it. 

it’s a funny thing with prompts; they can get you trying all kinds of new and fun things but you still, ultimately, always write or are drawn to what you’re feeling.
