It's your lucky day! 777. The new mixtape by Mode 7 is here! Nine beloved and cult classic games get the Mode 7 treatment. Hard hitting rhymes and catchy retro game beats from several seven based video games and video game music themes. 
From Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, to the Theme of Seven Force from Gunstar Heroes. Along with obscure classics like Kid Kool and the Seven Wonder Herbs, and of course we got to get on that The 7th Saga music. 

After dropping some truly obscure tracks on previous mixtapes, it's time to go full pop on this brand new release. New flows, hot remixes, and game themes you might actually recognize! 777 represents the culmination of work Mode 7 has put in up to this point. 

After this one drops, I'm diving back into the studio to start cooking up some summer loving for later this year. I fully believe there are enough fantastic tracks here that will tide you over for months. Remix of "Strago's Theme" from the SNES game "Final Fantasy 6" (ファイナルファンタジーVI), original composition by Nobuo Uematsu. This is also my first finished project with the new Arcade-System (YM2151 + Sega PCM), which was added to Deflemask with the release of version 11.
