490 - Ministry presents... Danny Rampling - Super Star DJ (2001)

So I just sat down and hit record and played some lovely old renaissance favorites from around 25 years ago (don't pull me if they're not, it was unplanned and freestyling). As they're all my vinyl rips there's the odd wobble here and there! I guess that's the original beauty of vinyl...it isn't BPM perfect.
It's the first mix I've done live since changing to Pioneer Rekordbox and DDJ-RX controller. I hope you enjoy it x

Legendary mix from the master DJ Sasha, this mix used to do the rounds big time back in the day, one of my all time fav tapes and mixes, this would still rip a dance floor up today, shame they dont make'm like this anymore, timeless tunes :)

The Essential Mix is a weekly radio show on BBC Radio 1 currently broadcast between 0:00 - 2:00 AM UK time on Saturday morning. Originally broadcast on 30 October 1993, the Essential Mix features contemporary DJs and music producers of electronic dance music. The show has been presented since its inception by Pete Tong and features an uninterrupted two-hour mix from a different artist each week, overlaid with occasional continuity announcements delivered by Tong. With a broadcast run in excess of 25 years, the Essential Mix is one of the longest-running programmes in the current BBC Radio 1 schedule, and is one of very few Radio 1 shows which is not broadcast live.
