This is the third and final B-Side off my debut single 'Been and Gone'. Very much inspired by artists like Richard Ashcroft, Kelly Jones, Neil Young and Noel Gallagher. I wanted it to be as minimal as possible and for the lyrics to shine through.

Dawn Till Dusk is the second B-Side of my debut single 'Been and Gone'. It's a smooth, acoustic based instrumental track that builds layers of guitars, violins and some background crowd noise.

'Colour The Grey' is the first of 3 B-Sides off my debut single 'Been and Gone'. It's a chilled out, upbeat acoustic track with some lovely organ sounds. It has elements of Folk and reminds me of an early Oasis B-side. It's about someone's struggle with addiction and that there is always hope. Although not one of my grander songs, it's one of my personal favourites.

'Who You Are' is the third single by Indie Rock 'n' Roll artist MODEL CITISIN. I actually woke up early one morning with the chorus in my head, so technically, I wrote part of this in my sleep. It reminded me a bit of 'She Moves In Her Own Way' by The Kooks and I've come to think of it as a sort of Indie nursery rhyme. Either way, it's pretty immediate so it won't take long to know if you love it or hate it. It also features one of my very talented guitar students, Blossom Harvey on backing vocals. Enjoy!

Indie Rock 'n' Roll with 90’s vibes and lover of all types of music. I'm proud to carry on my family's musical legacy with my brother Jamie on drums. 

My name is Nick Swettenham and I’ve been a musician all my life. Our late father Geoff and uncle Peter were part of the late 60s Rock ‘n’ Roll movement. Signed by The Beatles back in 1968 with their psychedelic band 'Grapefruit' (named by John Lennon) they’ve inspired me to get my music out to the world. 

Growing up as a teenager in the 90’s I was a huge fan of the Britpop era, as well as other great bands and artists 
 from around the world. Radiohead, Oasis, The Stereophonics, The Verve, Blur, REM, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Smiths, The Cure, The Stone Roses, Smashing Pumpkins, Fleetwood Mac, Neil Young, Travis, Coldplay, Counting Crows and so many more artists have been a huge influence in my sound.
