Born and raised in Huddersfield, Merker’s sound reflects the bass-driven energy of the city he grew up in—where genres like bassline were part of the everyday soundtrack.

“I always love a bit of old and new,” he told us in a Q&A on the blog. “The tracks I select usually land in old school bassline or speed garage… it’s always going to be an endless rabbit hole now.”
