Dazed and drifting amid the wreckage of current culture, looking for beauty, searching for meaning, confounded by an age that venerates the vacuous, we take refuge in a modern museum of discarded ideals.  As the ravaged innocents in mass culture’s war on all that we are, we seek our way among the ruins, battered by the merely brazen, mauled by mediocrity, finding strength and solace within ourselves.  Willingly living with our constant condition, a brooding, thrilling sense of forlornness pervades our lives, enveloping us in an empowering loneliness.  The future, if it comes, offers a transcendent majesty, for the dreams we’ll see are shaped by our hands, alone.
