Golden is a Dj/Producer based on Monterrey Mexico. Her music style is a diverse combination of explosive, energetic fusion of genres from bass, footwork, club, drum n' bass with Latin influences, especially for the dancefloor.

Golden has become a club scenes reference for the northern part of Mexico well being cofounded of netlabel Flamante creating community and visibility for other artists. She also is a part of the JukeMx crew and has participated in hosting radio shows and DJing footwork battles.

For the more artistic aspect of Golden, she has musicalized contemporary dance productions and feminist dance expositions.

Golden es un Dj/Productor radicado en Monterrey México. Su estilo musical es una combinación diversa de fusión explosiva y enérgica de géneros desde bass, footwork, club, drum n' bass con influencias latinas, especialmente para la pista de baile.

Golden se ha convertido en una referencia de la escena club del norte de México, además de ser cofundador del netlabel Flamante, creando comunidad y visibilidad para otros artistas. Ella también es parte del equipo de JukeMx y ha participado en programas de radio y batallas de footwork como DJ.

Para el aspecto más artístico de Golden, ha musicalizado producciones de danza contemporánea y exposiciones de danza feminista.

Embodying the mutant nature of club music in the modern age, Cocktail Party Effect comes bowling into Sneaker Social Club with a taut, wiry sound which joins dots and melts barriers at will. 

The brainchild of Charlie Baldwin, who previously recorded as Kasket, Cocktail Party Effect has been forged over the past six years through heavy bursts of sound design anchored by soundsystem dynamics veering between 140 and 160 tempo zones. From 2020’s self-titled LP on Tectonic to drops on Osiris, Cold, Transfigured Time and more, Baldwin’s deftly avoided allegiance to any specific scene and instead deployed shock-inducing gear for DJs with fortitude to test on their crowds. 

On SNKRX010 the commitment to physicality is prevalent across all four tracks, veering from the deadly broken beat barbs and artful fills of ‘Racka’ to the splintered breakbeat rushes and stop-start aggravation of ‘C.A.T.C.R’. ‘Grims8’ is perhaps the purest manifestation of the Cocktail Party sound though, all monochrome rigour with the contrast turned way up, powered by steely, gleaming rhythmic impulses and writhing with dense layers of sonic matter. Watch out for the glutinous bass snarl of ‘58bethe7’ though, which slams in sideways with an unabashed rave instinct crushed through a post-modern production lens. 

Baldwin may be operating on his own terms, but on this 12” he demonstrates versatility to match his originality, resulting in four inventive dance destroyers tooled to bridge between styles, sets and scenes.

The first release of this London based record label is dedicated in showcasing some of the most talented and innovative artists making moves on the juke/footwork scenes around the world. 
The tracks featured range from warehouse bangers to disco jivers and will accommodate for a wide range of musical preferences and styles.

The first track is a rolling dancefloor destroyer from "Pawn" This regular player on the Shoot Recordings label is no stranger to dirty bass music and each release has seen him go from strength to strength with this newest release "Do U" being no exception.
With its rolling drums and heavy baseline this track drops like a stick of dynamite and will no doubt be followed by some crazy leg movements on dancefloors across the globe. 
 
The second track is from a true pioneer of juke music. His Label "Dynamix Records" has seen him pushing some of the best and brightest artists on the juke scene to date. "Matt Davis" AKA "The Renegades" brings us "The Warmup" a beautiful example of a juke/jungle hybrid which really shows his passion for the old skool while giving it a modern twist. His love for melodic soundscapes and jungle drums rings true throughout this track and will bring joy to all the old skool and new skool ravers alike.   

Track three is from one the most dynamic producers i have ever come across, it seems there is no style of music this man cannot make. Better known for his disco and house record labels "Vorres" AKA "sccucci manucci" has been a big part of the music industry for many years now and his releases span from deep house to garage to dubstep. "One of these old days" is a beautiful soul gospel take on juke and has a truly unique and a melodic sound that you will want to play again and again.   

Finally we have a brilliant upbeat disco/juke edit from "Sideswipe". This track would be just as at home on any disco dancefloor as it would be at a warehouse rave. "Be With U" has all the groove and funk anyone could ask for while still staying true to the juke format. "MUKATSUKU" label owner "Nik Weston" has already shown the track some love and incorporated this new sound into his future disco/funk sets. This final track rounds off a truly innovative and exciting EP which is one not to be missed.
