The long anticipated collaboration between Mexico City-based Theus Mago & Berlin’s Curses is finally here, bringing their punk and psychedelic rock-infused dark club music to light. The two producers joined forces when shit hit the fan during the beginning of the pandemic, eager for a return to the clubs. ‘Antídoto’ EP is a cocktail of musical styles; nostalgic and futuristic, dubby and punky, noisy and moody. Get Lost. Get Found. What dimension did we just vortex into? What planet have we landed on? It Doesn’t matter, its fuckn’ weird but you can’t stop dancing.

Nuage and pecq’s melancholy bit of summer nostalgia, ‘Night Air’, gets a makeover from three distinct, tastemaker producers: BAILE, QRTR and il:lo. These remixes capitalize on the somber, airy vocals and lush bells and pads that led to the original racking up over 400,000 streams.

As frequent collaborators, BAILE and Nuage have an effortless way of meshing their sounds, and BAILE’s rework of ‘Night Air’ is no exception. Accentuating the stuttering pianos and vocal chops, BAILE adds in a choppy breakbeat and bumps the tempo up, to create a DJ-friendly version of the original perfect for a daytime festival slot or a sunrise set at Burning Man.

BAILE’s remix is out on August 16th, just in time for the end of summer, with the full remix EP dropping October 18th.

Loop Guru Von Party and fellow cult-men Dreems & Kris Baha step up to reinterpret Manfredas’s chai-walla approved hit ‘Glasswalk’ fresh off the back of the Sun Gaze / Moon Faze compilation series. 

Von Party turns the wonk up to 11. Creating an outsider-house groove with a chuggy druggy indian cigar in the right hand and a delay pedal under the left foot. What the other 2 limbs are doing - well that’s anyones guess. Pull out your patience card for the last 1/4 where things turn from heady to HEADY… Heed our advice.
