I made this song after a small relationship with a man I fell in love with. But he was so depressed, and he tried everything to be better for me but both of us really needed therapy to heal before enjoying a life together. Sometimes I still think about him. How the first time I was struck by a strong feeling of love but lust too, my love for him grew stronger each time I saw him but he wasn't ready for a relationship and me neither but it was the first time I felt at home with somebody else. I didn't feel I had to change who I was anymore. I miss him terribly. I took inspiration from Ali Gatie's beautiful work.

Here's the instrumental of my song Ease My Mind! This song will be about wondering when help will come when you're mentally ill. Wondering if someone can actually make you feel a little better. It explores solutions like healing alone instead of trying to be someone you're not to have someone who takes advantage of you, this song searches for answers. Like maybe there's someone for each kind. It's also about getting lost in the past when the present time passes you by. Seeking future but there's a thundercloud blocking the view. For now the vocals aren't ready yet but here's the instrumental :)

Well while reflecting a lot on what this song is about was a whole rollercoaster. At first I was like well it's letting go of something and letting people know you for who you are. And then I just realized it's just about emotional dependency. Like not being able to live with yourself and letting people decide if you're worthy or not. Making people obligated to live with your disorder making their job to make sure you're stable. It's about the desire to be in a relationship while knowing it's probably the best to heal alone. It's a really sad song but it's mostly major chords but in a minor scale so that's why it sounds heavy. Hopefully I'll make happier stuff in the future cause this was really hard for me to make and it kept me unmotivated. Anyways happy new year! I wish you a mentally stable year!
