They said evolution had a plan
But I’ve seen the wings on garbage cans
When the lights cut out, I swear they rise
Little prophets with compound eyes

We built towers, they built nests
Outlived plagues and failed the tests

Who made cockroaches fly?

Did God just laugh or cry
When He saw ‘em lift off, saw ‘em lift off tonight?

Science said “adapt or die,”
But some things never even try
They crawl through wars, they drink our lies
And wear apocalypse like a cheap disguise

We drop bombs, they just survive
Mocking every genius alive
