yess fella ! a piece of liquid gold :P merry crimbo

Merry Christmas everyone! Please enjoy this free track entitled 'Blissfully Aware'. I started this track around this time last year and haven't done all that much to it since. I had planned on spending the day mastering it yesterday, but unfortunately I spent most of the day tucked up in bed with the lurgie, so I've yet to test this version on monitors. Fingers crossed it should be okay. 

You may have heard me play this in sets throughout 2014, or possibly as part of fellow Liquifyah compadré Hugh Hardie's Hospital Records mix on BBC Radio 1Xtra back in June this year.

I have been sitting on quite a lot of music this year and I'm really excited to show you all the fruits of my labour in 2015! Keep your eye on this page, new music going up from January onwards.

Blissfully Aware [FREE XMAS DOWNLOAD 2014]

Drum & Bass Producer/DJ based in Bristol.

Modify Perspective is a Drum & Bass producer based in the UK and is best known for being head honcho of 'Liquifyah', which was hailed of one of the UK's premier D&B Collectives in it's hay day.

His mostly Liquid-driven productions gained a decent amount of support form names big and small worldwide and has seen releases on Viper Recordings and Lockdown alongside a number of self-releases. 

Hanging up the headphones in 2016 to focus on starting what is now Bristol's highest rated screen printing company Fyahfly Screen Print, his production has been put on hiatus for now and he's no longer touring or playing out quite as much. He does pop out of retirement from time to time to scratch the itch (or whenever Tribe Of Frog hops into the DMs). 

DJ shows are always full of energy, wether playing at prime time to a packed dance floor wanting it heavy, or more relaxed and intimate shows that require a deeper ambient Liquid vibe.

Although on indefinite hiatus, this isn't to say that one day a return might be on the cards. Having managed and developed the budding careers of artists such as Phaction (Metalheadz), Hugh Hardie (Hospital Records), Ill Truth (Symmetry Recordings), Octo Pi (Viper Recordings), Akov (Symbiotik Records, RAM) and Trafic MC, there's certainly a strong network of support in place should he switch the lights on in the studio again.
